And maybe you should lock this thread until we get a reply from AK or Lack.

Any mod and reply to a locked thread and/or unlock it. I won't lock it unless it's getting spammed, which is where it looked like it was headed.

Seriously guys. Quit with the spam already. It isn't exactly helping our case, and I think (and I suspect Vincent and Hecter think) that it's important this thread stays open; in order to give us a place in which to entertain a genuine dialogue with both the moderators, and the community at large.

So please. I doubt I'll ever say it again; but quit with the spam.

I dont know. Probably a mix of hating spam and not wanting Spamalot to pass the Longest thread, thread.

But no one really knows except AK himself. lets talk about something else.

Re: the Iliad forum ban

He was posting the same thing in tons of threads that had nothing to do with the situation. I unbanned him and hopefully he's calm enough now to not overreact anymore.

If Iliad can behave, he can stick around. If not, we won't be so nice the 2nd time around.

yu banned him because he posted too much in a thread? Anyhoo, will AK ever talk in this thread, I want to hear something from the guy. I want to hear his reasoning or else Im just assuming he did it just becuase he didnt like spamalot, which is totally unethical.

I agree. He won't post in a thread that has to do with one that he deleted.

No jnd, he was basically throwing a childish temper tantrum by posting the same off-topic thing in multiple threads. I just cleaned up one of the threads he derailed.

It's not about the thread. I never posted in a thread. It's about the atmosphere on the forums wich used to be fantastic. Then one bully decided to delete a thread in wich peope hung around, talked and generally tried to create a good atmosphere, just because he felt left out. The question that we have to ask ourselves is: What he feels left out by my thread, next time? Perhaps it's time for CC users to start saving stuff that matters to them on their HD, because leaving it on forums doesn't appear to be safe anymore.
