It took a while but we managed to win in the end. 5 points ahead with 7 games remaining so we're in a good position to retain our title and make it 5 league trophys in 6 years
Match results in the next few weeks and you guys could win the trophy at City...

Hey hey guys!! I was away at Loch Lomond for the weekend and couldn't get on the internet, but couldn't care less as the weather was hot hot hot and the scenery was stunning!!
Very disappointed at the result. It was a fucking pathetic performance, and to say the defence was poor would be an understatement. Now we have Spurs right on top of us and Wenger says "We have to go back to basics" again. I'm glad there's a 5 point gap between us and Chelsea and Newcastle because 4th has our name on it, especially when we've still got City to play.
Pmchugh, I apologise for giving you so much shit. I was winding you up and being a cock. Sorry mate, I'll try and not be an ass from now on.

Champs league was kinda boring tonight, looking forward to the semis though. Chelsea - Barca and Real - Bayern would be very interesting.

Messi has scored 58 goals in all competitions this season, AC Milan have scored 60 in their league this season.

f*ck Messi. The best player in the world has no class at all. His style sucks.
Players with great style? Bergkamp, Zidane, Ibra, Ronaldo Nazario de Lima, Maradona, Romario and others that without super style are more exciting to follow: Raul, Xavi, Maldini, Cantona.
Messi: quick, fast, thinks fast and good ball touch.

OK.
This is a video of Diego Armando Maradona in the 1986 World Cup semi-finals against England, compared to Lionel Messi against some shitty low-class spanish team:
Next time I play with my friends on Sunday I'll do the same and record it, then post it here.
You get the idea?

Messi is undeniably better than Maradona.. you are deluded if you think otherwise.
ALSO SERIOUSLY YOU LISTED IBRA??!?!?!? WTF.
ALSO YOU SAID MALDINI WAS MORE EXCITING TO WATCH THAN MESSI!?!?!?!? SO MUCH WRONG.

Are you summarizing the amazing years of Messi in that goal?
Are you aware that Maradona belonged to a crap era where no tactics were applied? Are you aware that Maradona's time lacked mentality? I don't think a comparison between 2 players of different times can be valid!

OK. I think I enjoy watching these kind of players more than Messi. I think they have a kind of different thing that makes only a handful like them geniuses in football.
How come you don't like Ibrahimovic? Is a fucking giant and still has a lot of movement. He can do it all. Did you see the pass he gave for the equalizer in Barcelona? He receives the ball, and we all see Nocerino moving, we all think is gonna pass the ball to him, but he makes a tiny pause and fools everybody that he's gonna chose a different play, all that in .0004 secs. In t+.0005 he passes the ball to Nocerino with perfect velocity an direction. Result ? Goal.
He can score goals like the famous one with Ajax, that if you ask me is better than any goal scored by Messi.
Maldini had class. For a defender, a lot of class.
Messi is going to end up being the most succesful football player in history, more goals and more titles and more money and everything, but just as Michael Jordan doesn't have the record of points, Babe Ruth doesn't have the record of HRs and Roger Clemmens won't be in the wall of fame, we will know that Messi had not football class. Only speed of feet and mind. And played next to Xavi and Iniesta.

Messi has football class in abundance. I love watching him play, he probably has the best close ball control of all time. Not to mention the brilliance of some of his tricks and flicks and chips. Messi is a team player and a great individual player, that's what makes him special. People seem to criticize the fact he links up well with Xavi and Iniesta as a bad trait and that is totally backwards.
I played in defense myself but I would much rather watch the attacking brilliance of Barca than the defensive play of the Italian teams.
As for Ibra he is the most overrated player in history. He is such an arrogant prick, I am surprised every time he plays a pass. I would say he isn't even one of the top players of his time never mind being listed with the rest of those greats. I think he is about on a par with Saha overall.

He's an arrogant prick, yeah.. but that doesn't make him suck at playing football. and he's in not overrated. I'd say he's underrated rather. Ibra is genius on the pitch, but he lacks the agility and individual tricks that appeal to average spectators and most importantly media!

No no. He does it well I guess, but did you see the comparison of him and Maradona like 5 posts ago? You can clearly see the difference, Maradona is way better in that regard. When I played soccer this is what I did best, and my friends often told me so, they also told me that if I quit smoking and run a bit more I would be like Romario. Of course Im kidding.

What about Zidane over Messi?
In 2006 Zidane decided that France needed to go to the World Cup and took them there, next he takes them to the final and he had a chance to score the winning goal in a header. It was a header he usually made. But history sucks and he missed the header, the match went to overtime and he connected a header.. to Matserati's chest. That's what we remember of 2006's final and the world sucked Cannavaro's balls for 6 months. That took him to RM.
But what if he had scored that header? We would've talked of Zidane for ages, 2 world cups, and the last basically was 60% his. And we will see this and we wouls say Messi is far far away of reaching Zidane's greatness: such is history.

while there is no doubt messi is a great player unless he leaves barce(which is unlikely) and goes to another club and replicates the same level of skill he has now then in my book he cant be considered the greatest ever.La Liga is a lot slower than the Premier league and while messi would be great in the PL he wont be as prolific as he is in La Liga.
Zidane's best goal and one of the best goals ever scored

This is not the reason why history sucks. and he didn't miss the header. In fact, he put it in the best way it can be ever put. However, there was another legend named Buffon. yeah, I'm pretty sure if any other goalkeeper was there instead of Buffon, it would have been a goal. Now that's a good example why history sucks. It's never fair when it comes to goalkeepers, and barely when it comes to defenders.

Messi rules. Fact.
Now fuck that, down to the weekend's business. Celtic won the title by beating Killie 6-0, big deal.
I am not looking forward to our game tomorrow...
However, Spurs dropped 2 points today, so pressure off a little. Liverpool look like they're away to lose again, which will make it 6 defeats out of their last 7 league games. They've had an awful season.

Zidane is just a God for his headbutt.
I have to agree with Sniper that La Liga is a lot slower than PL and there are only 2 teams that have a decent chance of winning the league, whereas in the PL there are a few more.
