Careful, you lend creedance to all mythology here. That's like sayin' Zues is real because why would anyone come up with all those stories???
even so, is that the only comeback you have of all my post? that means you can't say anything against it

I wasn't debating you. I saw that you made an honest mistake and was allowing you to fix it before some jerker called you on it. Apology accepted.

No, his point is that because you make references to the propagators of the religion as people that we would argue are fictional your argument is moot. Besides, the ones that wrote the old testament weren't, as was originally argued, stoned, burned, etc. Indeed, whoever came up with the stories in the Old Testament had a good group of followers who probably did their every whim. After all, Christianity is just an offshoot of the Jewish faith.

And let's not forget that Jesus was not the only "son of God" with followers who was killed by the Romans. In fact, he wasn't the only one while he was alive. I think that says something.
And the Dead Sea Scrolls also make claim that calling yourself "a son of god" was a common expression for Jews of the time. After all, aren't we all children of god. this is only a point of reference for what I said above.

If you are referring to the early church, most of those people had nothing.
They were persecuted.
The were stoned.
They were killed.
They did not make money.
Why on earth would people, who knew they were lying, who knew what they were saying was wrong, tell made up stories only to be killed?
Why on earth would they make up these stories and go thought such torture and anguish for a lie?
Ask yourslef this. If you made up a story to get peoples money and a person said they would kill you unless you admittedt is was a lie, what would you do. Would you die for something that you knew was false? I doubt it.
Then why did so many people die for something they knew was false? I argue that they died because they knew it was true (saw first hand) and were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice.

you talk about this like it is a known fact. you have no clue what soever. you probably made up that story (or you heard it from someone else who is a strong atheist). if this were true though like you say it is, then who would've started it? Adam? no. Noah? no. i also doubt that if someone made it up, they would bother to make all those stories about Adam and Noah, etc. for a lie.
an invisible man in the sky? no. do a little research about the religion your going to try and tell made up stories about before you do it. it will help you not get the idea wrong.
I know you are only 14 but I have rarely come across anybody who knew so little about his own religion so its fairly priceless criticising others.

Every 14 year old know everything already. Wait until he is 20 and in college. Then ask him his opinions again.

he is not just an invisible man in the sky!! he's much more than that. he's not really even man... and he's in heaven, not the sky that we see everyday.

i can't, but you can't prove that he's just an invisible man in the sky either. so if your so sure that he is, then you prove it. i have strong faith that he is real. you probably have strong faith that he isn't. so lets just leave it at that. neither of us are going to change our minds...

Yes they are not blindly accepting what the believers are saying so they are wicked. It's rather easy, since that way you don't actually have to have much of a discussion because you don't have to listen to fools and wicked men.
Yay for religion!

Yet you spend what little time is left digging out conspiracy theories and ancient prophecies, way to waste a life
