in the 1700 the best decade was the 70s in the 1800 the best decade was well lets say none!!! and in the 1900 it would have to be the 20s

Well you might have a point when you say everything. the 70s had a few bad presidencies among other things going on.

Hmm...1800s I'm gonna just say 1820s. Not great but less bad than some of the other decades. 1800-1809 Adams, threats of war, etc. balanced out by Louisiana Purchase. 1810-1819 War of 1812. 1830-1839 tensions start to build between North and South. Trail of tears. 1830s-1870s-lot of tension between North and South including a war. 1840s-1850s-not much went right during htis period. 1860s-civil war do I need to say more? 1870s-post civil war problems. 1880s-1890s I don't have much to say about these. I'll agree with 1920s just because I can't make a good argument for any other decade.
