I'd be willing to bet that maybe it has more to do with the fact that you have brain damage.

How much? I take cash.

No, I will not make out with you!

That is what is wrong. Someone who supports the likes of Man Utd and Barca rather than their local team of, say, Torquay Utd, Ventforet Kofu or FC Levadia is not a true, or best, fan. You can be as global as much as you like, you can laugh your arse off as much as you like, but that will never make you a better fan than me.

whats the difference between supporting a big club or a little club?, the fans are still passionate about their team and care about the club, so the small town mentality you have really doesnt apply to football imo.

I think his point is that being a fan of a top global club is easier. If you support Man Utd or Arsenal or Barca or Milan, there is all this glory, you win more often than you lose, you never have to worry about relegation or a bad run of form. A bad season for a Top 4 (i guess it's 6 now...) is missing European play and not winning a cup. If you support Barca, you're disappointed if you didn't win at least 4 trophies.

Compare that to supporting Torquay, or Levadia, with crowds you can count on your hands. An example here in the United States would be the New England Revolution, or worse, a lower-league club, where you don't even get to hope for promotion. Glory there, albeit smaller, is just as sweet, because you feel that you were an intimate part of the success.

tl;dr: Support your local football club. Unless your local club got taken over by Red Bull, like mine...

EDIT: Oh, first post. Hi guys!

Although seriously it has to be one of the German or eastern European sides.

7-1. Like taking candy from a baby. f*ck yeah.

Seriously though, why can't we play like that in every game? I really feel for Blackburn, they are having a horrendous season. Kean is a man I would not want to be.

Fuckin hell that was a great game, i dont think there is a better example of United fighting spirit than that. 3-0 down and we claw it back to get a point and deserved to win the game.

sturridge was chelsea's best player and i have no idea why villa boas took him off, pretty much the subs told you what each manager was thinking, chelsea went defense and united went full out attack with bringing the successor to ole solkjaer on in chicarito.

dea gea again looked completely nervous in the first half(a few bad punches) but calmed down in the second and made a brillant save from a free kick.United's penalties were right and wrong at the same time, they were peno's but the way the players went down suggested they werent. in the first half we had a big peno shout for welbeck although i thought it was outside the box.

at the end of the day we lose points to city but we have gotten the 2 biggest teams out of the way. liverpoo and shitty are all thats left, i know we still have spurs away but we usually beat them. shitty still have Man utd ,arsenal, spurs and chelsea left.

i still think our experience and determination to win will help us regain the title

It was a good game, I think the second penalty was unfair because Welbeck put his foot in to win it, but still great resolve from Utd to come back. The first half pen appeal was just outside the box.

Torres' cross for Mata's stunning volley was a peach. Some really good football played by both teams. I'd say Utd have edge on City for the title due to the club's history.

the one good thing torres did today, chelsea need to cut there losses with him he just aint good anymore.

but damn that was a sweet goal from mata, definetly a contender for goal of the month if not goal of the season.

What a week for football.

Rangers sell their only decent striker at a cut price, crash out of the cup at home and we all have a good party at the prospect of them going bust!

And a nice wee game of Chelski throwing away a massive victory!

Epic Solkjaer or however it's spelled, I had an exam that same day same hour but managed to watch the last glorious 15 minutes. Chicharito reminds me of Solkjaer.

Money earned by teams.

Top 20.

Barcelona might pass Real Madrid in the list this same year, for the first time, thanks to the Qatar Foundation deal.

Between parenthesis is the 2010 position.
