The Premiership was immense yesterday. Cracking games, and a bunch of cracking goals.

Torres is still a joke.

What a day of football!

Man City 3-2 Tottenham
The first half was horrifically boring, but in the second half the game came alive. Four goals in the space of ten minutes made the game very interesting indeed. Then Balloteli came on, escaped a yellow for a foul, then blatantly stamped on Parker. He should have been sent off and handed a three or four match ban. Defoe agonisingly misses an open goal in the last minutes, then Balloteli (who should not be on the pitch) wins a penalty and scores it!! What a game!!

Arsenal 1-2 Man Utd
Very different story to the game at Old Trafford. The first half was fairly even, although Utd finished stronger and deserved the 1-0 lead at half time. Wenger rightly substituted Djourou for Yennaris, as he was having a nightmare at right back. Arsenal came out the stronger side in the second half and should have scored at least once before Robin van Persie scored the fantastic equaliser. Then came the turning point. Wenger substituted AOC who was having a fantastic game for Arshavin, who was just terrible. United finished stronger and got the second goal thanks to Arshavin being unable to defend, and general sloppiness. Oh, and did you see Theo get completely KO'd?!?

Malaga 1-4 Barcelona
OK, Lionel Messi = wtf?!? I mean, seriously, words can't describe him. He's from another planet surely. Every week he makes the case for him being the greatest footballer EVER stronger and stronger. I watched the Barcelona game today... and he blew my mind... yet again. Another hat-trick, one with his head, one powerful shot, and a classic "beat a million players and roll it around the keeper into the corner". I hate people who say he's only that good because of his team mates. To some degree yes, but he does a lot on his own too. He's something else, and if he keeps going like this for a few more seasons, he will be without any doubt the best player to ever walk this planet.

Problems inside the group in Real Madrid.

Yet it's always good when one speaks up instead of bottling up. Mourinho is a smart fox, I bet he manages to take the criticism in a positive way. Actually that's more my hope than an educated guess.

All that needs to be said for the Manure of Old Trafford is:

=D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

One day we will learn to beat the lesser teans like you do, then these matches will be even bigger.

Anyway, somewhere in the not too distant past I tried to gather together supporters of different clubs so we could get together and play matches against each other.

Lets try again?

At the very least, we can create mini-teams of supporters for the world's 4 biggest teams surely?

Maybe we should get a usergroup together?

Once had a Mighty Reds usergroup but we had nobody to play against so it kinda petered out ...

Fair play to Manure, for a change.

They probably feel how we do when we have controlled most of the game but not got a result, but there dont seem to be any of their traditional drama-queen, major dummy-spitting reactions (or pathetic excuses).

Here is one analysis:

Lawro wrote:It wasn't a great game at all - the majority was somewhat sterile. In the whole 48 minutes of the second half there were two chances and both fell to Liverpool. They just about pinched this game from under the noses of Manchester United who, for all their possession, never really created any chances whatsoever

As a Liverpool fan, I admit this to be true, although tinged with Lawro's depressive style. Manure did have a hell of a lot of the ball.

My fair play comment, is that the Manure anti-christ would usually have made a massive deal of this and whinged massively at the 'injustice', blaming the referee, arguing about throw-in decisions, or maybe just plain refusing to give an interview. Instead he was pretty mild, obviously claimed some sort of distorted view that he thought Manure were going to win (without creating any chances). But he only threw one or two sour grapes about, instead of the usual vineyard. This quote, although it contains a total contradiction at the begining, almost made me faint:

Taggart wrote:We didn't get anything from the referee ( ) but in a way it was well handled. It was a sensible performance from the referee and the players showed great respect to each other.

There was not a bad tackle in the game and it was played in a good spirit.

Man Utd fans, how is your season going? How's that Champions League campaign coming? How about the FA cup run? Caught City at the top of the table yet?

Didn't think so. Not so much fun when it's your team, is it?

We have a tough test in the last 16, should be amazing games, both home and away.

Also, gotta be happy with that comeback against Villa. Just what we needed.

yes JB we have caught them, i know ARSEnal might not have seen it from where you guys are in 6th.

one not overly successful season for united, so far ,is cause for concern? we are joint top on PL and we have a chance in the europa league of winning it for the first time(i think) if this was ARSEnals season they would bragging to no end, just shows you the different mentality at united compared to ARSEnal.

First of all, we're 7th. Second of all, We're in the CL, and you're in the EL, which is fucking hilarious because you couldn't qualify against a bunch of lame ass teams and you aren't even going to win the EL.

Third, why are you so concerned with us? We pose no threat because our manger won't spend properly like MANURE, Man SHITTY, Spurs, Chelsea, and LiverPOO have in recent seasons. You are trying to carry on a rivalry that no longer exists because of the fact that Arsenal have decided they are no longer going to try and contend with the spending power of the bigger clubs. The bonus is that Wenger has built such a massive foundation of wealth that we can afford not to win anything. If Man Utd went 6 or 7 seasons without silverware, they'd be on the brink of collapse. Thank goodness we have a club that knows how to make millions without spending a penny. And I'm sorry to say that in today's economy, it is all too easy for football clubs to find themselves up shit creek. Don't think it couldn't happen to any of the top EPL teams, because it could.

Finally, Arsenal have some the best fans in the world, especially when compared to Man Utd fans. It would do you good to go a few seasons without silverware. Give you a reality check.

so united had a bad season in the CL and got in the EL but the thing is arsenal will get knocked out this round by AC and united will continue in the EL as the competition is less fierce and we have a chance to get back the millions we lost by not going further in the CL

United will never go more than one season without a trophy under Fergie and to think otherwise you should really go to a doctor as you probably have brain damage

United spend big money when we need to so thats makes us bad compared to the scrooge's at ARSEnal. We also sell big, Ronaldo pretty much paid for the last 2 years of signings. We buy young players who are an investment for future seasons compared to SHITTY and chelsea who buy the well known guys around who only have 5 years left in them.

Best fans in the world lmfao united along with barce and real are the true global teams. ARSEnal arent a global team as much as you would like to think so  .
