What a great weekend, I couldn't be happier with the way that went!
Arse-nil losing to Blackburn, Liverpoo getting hammered by Spurs, Shitty held 2-2 by Fulham, Ireland beating Oz in Rugby and, of course, United beating Chelski 3-1, Supoib!
Admittedly the score-line kinda flatters us, Chelski had way more shots on target but who cares!!!
Yeah, Torres' miss was amazing, laughing away merrily to myself over that one!

actually that was probably his best game for chelsea and if you take out the miss he was their best player.
Leeds tomorrow in what is sure to be a severly weakened United squad. Also chicarito is gonna be missing for a couple weeks due to that asshole cole.

I would say Rooney's miss was bad as well. Shades of Terry in the Champions League final.

Falling over when you're about to kick the ball is nowhere near as bad as just completely missing the (huge) (empty) (gaping) target for no apparent reason.
GreecePwns wrote:Shades of Terry in the Champions League final.
Strangely I feel sorry for Terry on that one; most people seem to think it was his miss that lost Chelski the cup, it wasn't. Anelka took a subsequent penalty for Chelski and it was HIS miss that sealed their fate.
Admittedly if Terry had scored it'd be different but my point is no-one seems to recall Anelka's miss at all...

if terry scored they would have won it so ppl remember it more as he had a chance to win it but anelka was saved not missed so ppl are gonna be less harsh on him plus terry was the captain so he was expected to not f*ck it up

.

True, very true. Still, defenders are mainly defenders 'cos they can't shoot for shit!

why is Tevez such a dumb?

Well, United cruising, Man City have a dilemma but are also cruising, Chelsea are ticking over nicely, all the other teams are having weird seasons, and Arsenal are fucked. 100% fucked. I fear for the future of my club, especially if we lose Robin next year.
Tevez is a fucking dick. He may have thought he was giving the big "FU" to the manager, but what he really did was let his team mates down. He also delivered a swift kick in the nuts to the fans by his actions. If Man City had no fans, he would have no job there. He should be fired and banned from playing in the UK ever again. Send him back to Argentina the prick.

Euro 2012 playoffs
Turkey v Croatia
Estonia v Republic of Ireland
Czech Republic v Montenegro
Bosnia and Herzegovina v Portugal
Probably the best draw we could have gotten

Can't argue with you there, the whole Estonia thinks the same thing, so happy that both nations feel the same way. You keep underestimating Estonia

Edit. Just a note, I'm from Estonia, just residing in UK currently.

Robin van Persie is one of the best strikers in the world right now, and he played a blinder against Sunderland today. His 28 goals in 33 games are single-handedly keeping us alive.

We will be losing Joel Lindpere to the Estonia playoff tie just as MLS playoffs are starting

He is one of our top players.

Thank you, he is quite good in there, isn't he? Anyway, you won't lose him because he hasn't played for the national team for a year now, after he moved to USA, he has decided that his career in the Red Bulls is more important than representing his country. And, he said that there is no point inviting him to Estonia for these games because he wouldn't be coming due to MLS playoffs (if they make it there). Which, in a way I understand because he isn't that young any more and he doesn't have many years left as professional footballer so he wants to take maximum from it. Clearly he (nor actually anybody else in the whole world) guessed that Estonia might end up in the EURO playoffs

That's the problem these days......money means more than the honour of playing for your country....very sad

It is, isn't it, such shame. And in this case it's rather ridiculous because it is said that he doesn't actually get paid as much as he deserves. It's especially hard for smaller countries like Estonia because if we don't have a big pool of players so every loss (either for injury or something else) is a huge deal. But, in a way it's really weird because most people in Estonia actually don't want this particular dude to come back right now because it would be unfair to the guys who have played for the national team and made the playoff happen.
Hmm, I wonder if Thierry Henry has played for France in the past year because he plays in the same team as our guy.
