A picture of the island i live on

, Rock on Portland! ( Weymouth is the town 2miles from it, hence Weymouth in my "where i live" )

Ive ridden through Portland on the way home to my island.....lol..I think thats Mt Baker?....cant remember......

That's Mt. Hood. Until Mt. St. Helens blew, Portland use to have twin peaks on either side of the city. Now you can only see the flat, much much shorter top of Mt. St. Helens on clear, sunny days--which are few and far between in the Northwest.

Meg, you wouldn't happen to know a guy named Tom Brenneman would you? Obviously its a large place so the chances are slim, but he hails from Portland Oregon and often visits Mt. Bachelor and Mt. Hood.

I'll be sure to take my digital camara down to the beach etc, the sunsets we get are somthing special, and some of the veiws are absolutly wonderful (and this is coming from a teenager) :lol:

I searched some sites but they only have old pictures, witht he olympics coming here alot has changed in the last 1-2 years. But heres some pictures non the less.

Hope you like them, not the best views to show off my home but hey. But one thing though, that statue means alot to me/family because 3 days before my dad died he had his hands model'd for that statue

so gives me some insentive sometimes when im "having a hard time" to go up there and just take int he views etc.
