By football do you mean, american football? (A complete rip off of rugby, only for ponses), or did you mean what you americans call "Soccer" which doesn't make sense either... Why do you call your American football football when you hardly ever use your feet? You know maybe thats why the rest of the worlds "Football" is called that, because you kick the ball with your "foot".

Except that real football is much much better than the fake american version (That is a lot like rugby)

Baseball is really boring unless you are in the game, but it is a great sport for sportscenter because they only show the exciting parts.
I dont think soccer (football) is boring, because I play it, but people who dont understand the game think there isnt enough action.

Miami sucks horse balls.... I hate Shaquille O'Neal, so just beacuse of that I want them to loose. That Wade guy impressed me in the first game though. However, Dallas will win. If they are able to win while playing so lousy as they did in the first game, they can't loose.
However, who in his right mind would care about the NBA final though when the greatest sports event is going on. Need to go now, otherwise I'll miss Portugal-Angola. Ouuuhhh sweet football. Can't believe it has been four years already since the last world cup.

Rugby is just a rip off of a similar game of past cultures in antiquity like: Maoris, Faroe Islanders, Philippine Islanders, Polynesians and Eskimos.
Nearly everything everyone loves was ripped off from something earlier in time.

True. And even Conquer Club was copied from some ancient game and customs as far as I understands it....

Man, Wacicha, I love your posts. What kind of accent do you have so I can imagine you saying them?
I love playing soccer but I don't like the 11-a-side format that international and professional soccer uses. I also hate the offside rule, especially when I'm playing 11-a-side myself (depends on ubercompetent officiating, which is asking too much) and think there'd be a lot fewer questionable calls if they had something like the blue line in hockey - a fixed offside line. I think the 11-a-side format leads to game results that don't reflect the true balance of skill on each side - how else could Greece win the Euro? or Trinidad tie Sweden? I wish they changed the format to one that led to higher-scoring games, not just because it would make the game more exciting, but because the better team would more often be the victorious team. Like, say, a 200-by-85 foot field with boards instead of touch lines...and maybe they could give everyone a stick and put ice in there...
