So needs to be kept in the frig, but isn't typically eaten (but can be). Only thing I can think of is a box of Baking Soda, but that doesn't HAVE to be refrigerated. But something along those lines I'm assuming.

(this is not a question, just trying to spark an idea in someone else)

1. It is not alive
2. It is edible
3. It is solid
4. It is food
5. It is not chocolate
6. It is not a meat product
7. It is not a dairy product
8. It is not in any of the food groups
9. It is not sweet (This is hard to answer)
10. It is both hard and not (Tell me if this does not make sense)
11. It is not a banana
12. It does not liquidise when left out
13. It is not chewing gum
14. It is hard outside, inside soft
15. It is not a sweet
16. It needs to be refridgerated
17. It is not a drug of some sort
18. It is not a condiment
19. It is not a mineral
20. It is not a box of baking soda

Well, what I was thinking of was a corpse - The body of a deceased person.

Do you see where I was coming from?

Wicked, you take a go.

EWWW. BTW corpses aren't hard unless rigor mortis has set in, and rigor mortis is a temporary state.

I meant hard on the outside as in the skeleton, soft on inside as in the organs. It is only classed as a corpse if recently deceased, so will be similar, in that way, to a living person...I think :?

They are food and they are edible, however they are not food products, so not in a food group. Just like eating any other animal they still give energy for growth etc
