Well i was checkout the profile for CC and i noticed there isnt a screen shot or a logo up.

Come on lack. Get the conquerer logo up and the screen shot from the home page :wink:

The Multiplayer Online Games Directory's Game of the Month is chosen by players as the premier game for that month. All playable games listed are capable of winning this award although a game can win the award only once a year (starting 2002).

Maybe that's why Hobo Wars stopped gaining votes, because once you win it appears you are taken off the list for the rest of the year. Last months winner, Tycoon Online, isn't even on the Top 100. Perhaps it's better from a marketing POV to place 2nd every time and stay on the list year-round?

Guys, this is just one "contest" out of several on many different sites. Winning gets our link up on the sidebar or something and in a prominent place for a couple months. This site is not the only one we want to advertise on; we can be diverse and advertise on many sites similar to this one. Plus the free speed game deal is only for 1st, so let's not rob people of their free game they've most likely earned. Continue voting for CC!

yeah, hobo wars wants to do a lot of work and be in the top 3 each month. We'll put up an announcement, vote a ton and get first (along with whatever recognition that gains) and then be done with it.

I personally think trying to get 1st one time makes more sense than being top 3 each month.
