There are rails running between Paris-Brussels and Amsterdam.
I didn't place them all coz there is a lot of work in that and i wasn't gonna do it and then have you guys change it.
Umm, I don't see them either... did your image get replaced, or perhaps you've linked us to the wrong version? Something is going on.
The rest of the map takes advantage of old visuals, so an older look to the rails makes more sense.

maybe you guys need to refresh your browser? I can see the rails fine.
I could go either way on the rails so I'm not sure I'll vote unless it's really needed.

OK thanks oaktown...the lines are there and you'll need to refresh your broiwser as suggested by edbeard, as I am gradually adding the sleepers to the rails as i go along each day.

It looks like the poll is definitely in favour of the old style rail lilnes...so i have contiunued adding more sleepers in Version 26 below.

Sorry Cairns - didn't think to refresh to get a new image.
Anyway, I'm for the traditional style too - voted...

Well, try this one out...i've swapped a couple of the colours around on the lines....i can see the Baltic lines now and the Orient Express is a distinctly different colour.

Poll Results
What sort of rail lines do you want on this RAIL EUROPE map (options see P35)
A. Traditional = two lines with sleepers
68% [ 13 ]
B. Modern = One thick colored line with black squares on it
31% [ 6 ]
Total Votes : 19
A resounding success for the traditional style rails by two to one.
OK...here are the rails on the small map almost finished.
Any adjustments to them before i send them up to the large map?

the only places where they don't look good are where there are more than two tracks lined up all together. This only occurs in three places and honestly not that big of a deal. I'm not sure if there'd be a good fix for it anyway.

Thanks oaktown....it doesn't take much to adapt a new graphic to accommodate some special circumstances.
