Or you could compare it to the first 20 feet in a marathon race.
Sure you should be thrilled you haven't fallen into some uncovered sewer, but if you need to take solace in the fact that you're competitive when the score prior to the pertinent result was 0-0 then that's just a tad bit sad.
You are right though, it is funny - just funny in the sense of we are all laughing at you. You're not providing bulletin board material, you're providing quips to hang in the office so when your eyes get blurry for work you can look at Dai_atan's latest remarks next to your Dilbert cutouts and have a good hearty, refreshing laugh.
It's nice to see trap survived his finals...rested up...and comes back to this thread with a vengeance! Dilbert cutouts? Seriously? Not your best work man.

I think I can. I'm more than willing to do some games with you heads up if you'd like. As for how I'm in TOFU, can't really tell you - clan policy to not let individuals being considered for admission serve on the recruiting committee. I know, quite unorthodox but that's how they roll.
Quite frankly my year+ vacation from ConquerClub did myself no favors, but like I said, I'm willing to do some games with you to see if I can back up this mouth of mine that keeps spitting hot fire. At the very least, if you are able to beat me then you can use it as consolation for the abuse you all have taken in the tongue lashings.
I'm also fairly confident if I dropped out of TOFU, I could get into Legion. Most of you are hesitant to admit it, but your eyes light up when you see I've posted - I'm sure cheme's wondering what gold he missed when I was on his foe list

I swear I posted a reply saying there would be no chance of trap getting into legion since we vote our members in and then I said I'd take his challenge but not on doodle...

Honestly, I think trap would probably be a good fit. We got lots of lawyers, doctors, and other professionals in the Legion. However, sometimes trap reminds me of Snowgun (can anybody say Snowgun 2.0?)....and I'm just not sure any clan can handle two Snowguns!!!

think we might hv to throw in the towel here. i mean there is no way the clan ranked 18th in CC can compete with the clan ranked 1st,
shit it would be the greatest upset in CC history if we were to win,

I think you can when fate deals us the fewest starts, the lousiest drops and the worst dice that anyone in our clan can ever recall. Kinda levels the playing field.
