Question - once a challenge is accepted, am I correct that each player sets up one game with that player's choice of settings, approved in the rules. And the challenged player sets up the tie-breaker. All three games are to be set up at the same time, not to wait until it is necessary to break at tie.

I have heard from one player on the ladder that only two games need be set up UNLESS it is a tie, then the third gets set up. That is not how I read the rule nor how I have seen it handled by most.

Ok...recorded the win and moved you up the Ladder. If you have won two games before the third one is completed, you can still post the victory.
We used to have players report a win when the match was 1 - 1, saying they had the third game in the bag...and then they wound up losing that third game. That's why we re-wrote that rule.

The Challenger creates the third game at the same time he/she creates the Home game.

Right now russde is number 1. Chuck called "dibs". Interestingly, Chuck just beat me to knock me out of 2nd. But I have won 2 of the three games so I will be #1 once we finish the third game. The dibs must apply to me, right?

And since Chuck won the battle for #2, he can play me two challenges in a row once I take over first place, right?

Dang lawyers...I should be a Judge or something...Yes, since I have DIBS, I am next to challenge for the #1 position no matter who won that match.

Steve, I think that rule only applies to a loser of a match. You can't turn right around and challenge again.

I beat russde, and he has tried to put dibs on me but I think he has to play someone else before he can challenge me. Chuck beat me, so he can challenge me after I moved up - he had dibs in place when I won.

Yep...something was wrong....I made a simple mistake and added BT twice after his win...Turns out it was Species 8472 and it has been removed.

Oops...I got into Steve's stash. I've got the win recorded, but the challenge cannot be allowed because of my typo with moving players last night from previous matches.
