Is there a connection beween these two posts, as is implied by you quoting me? I can't see one.
We might call "fowl" at KFC...

OK.
In other news we are now entering a very busy time for the curl kids - the curlson plays baseball and soccer, so there's weekend games/matches and weekday practise. Meanwhile the curlette also plays soccer, on top of her heavy drama class schedule. And in addition to that she is in the chorus at the local high school (she's in elementary, but they have some younger kids in the chorus) musical at the end of the month.
This means that various people are passing through the house at different times demanding food. I spent most of the weekend cooking up some batches of stuff to be reheated on demand. The situation is of course complicated by the curlette's continued veggie stance. I have to admit I thought she'd lose patience with that long before now. I guess I try too hard to make the veggie option tasty.
Chicken and mushroom pie anyone? Stuffed twice-baked potatoes?

the point i am making here is that everthing he did was legal. there was not illiage means. sure paying your workes little to nothing never looks good but are you honestly saying that if you were him you would pay your workers more??? we can all say yes but dont lie to yourselve when you are trying to make money is it not best for your intrest to pay your workers just enough. so you can maxamise your profits? i think everone would do that. after all you took the risk of opening a new busniess. and why would you share that completely with a new person you just hired???

Just get the hobnobs and be done with it already.

Mrs curl committed a great sin the other day - she put the girlscout mint thins in the airtight biscuit/cookie container. Now they all taste of mint. Coconut/mint, oatmeal/mint, everything/mint. I have to buy a new biscuit barrel and find a local hobnob supplier.

I have studied a certain amount of U.S. history, but I have to admit beyond the name (and I could probably get within a decade or two of the dates)I can remember nothing of Cleveland. He must have been just before the Spanish war, right?
