Fixed.
There doesn't need to be a comma there. I appreciate your effort though.
Perhaps UK English doesn't follow the direct address comma rule.
There wasn't anything wrong with using the comma, but it wasn't required.
Really? I've always been under the impression that direct address commas actually are required, because if you don't use them it can completely change the meaning of a sentence. Well, I will do some googling. Perhaps I've learned something new today, though I still feel that I'm correct.

Generally, although not always, the rule of saying the sentence out loud and adding a comma where you pause is correct. Feel all you like.

You're already on the wrong foot with me, unfortunately.
Yeah I know that, most people are it seems.
Am I really that unfriendly? I don't think I used to be, but perhaps I am now!
Maybe you just come across as being a bit short at times, but it is very easy to interpret people incorrectly in a forum unless you know them very well. I'm not bothered either way, I love banter.

At GCSE Level (high school) and partly at AS Level (school). My mum's also a high school English teacher for GCSE and A Level. All I'm saying is that works, as a rule of thumb.

I do believe it's imperative. Otherwise, you have the following discrepancy.
Let's eat, Grandma vs. Let's eat Grandma.
That's a different scenario. If you look at what I said you'll notice the comma can be used but is not required and does not make a difference to the meaning of the sentence.
lol no need for the extension....
MOD Edit. Nicky15
so 5 times they have broke event rules or clan rules and still no forfeits of games this is a joke.
1)home game sign up round 1 (kort players delaying signing up to get advantage of screen shot)
2) signing up to away games 2 days late.
3)sitting abuse in the poland game (because no fog rule.)
4)signing up late to kort home games round 2.
5)sitting abuse in the das game.[/quote]
do aka players actually join. when you join a event against a top ranked clan you expect them to play fair and follow the rules. you expect them to communicate(avoiding yesterdays drama) not to call other clan all retards (this mornings issue)... really how the hell are kort classed as one of the best clans.
Be honest now, eddie, are you some kind of art parody project? You can't actually be real.
It's beyond me how a respectable clan such as AKA would willingly keep you around. I think they're doing it as a joke, maybe? Okay guys, you got us. Good one!
I used to think this site was great and everyone was treated with equal strokes and given free rein to have a bit of harmless fun in war threads. I also used to think cheme was a good bloke. Now whenever there is a bit of banter in any thread he locks it. He really is the last person who should be in charge of anything on this site - a killjoy who treats it like his personal kindergarten. He's a lawyer though (but not a very busy one, obviously) so what else could we expect. I'm retiring from this shit soon - just not soon enough.

lol nmic see when you sit for someone as a emergency sit... do you not think it is a good idea to see if they have actually been online playing games instead of coming in here talking crap about how aka are willing to keep me around.... what have we done played fair games (everybody taking there own shots in a timely manner) not letting the time run that far down that they need a sitter to play for them because all i can think of is that game chat has not been updated telling them what to do last time they were on.
also sorry only one person in aka has flamed 1 member of kort and he has been given a pm telling him to stop and if i remember you were in that game and got a appology from me telling you he would not be in round 2..... so plz carry on because at the end of it i know i have done the right thing for aka and possibly the clan world in showing how nasty and ugly kort can actually be... come on you are ranked no 1 in the clan world and have had to use every cheap tactic in the book so far. where as aka have followed the rules and played fair games via you.
As a matter of fact, no. When a friend and teammate has less than half an hour left on the clock for a clan game, my first instinct isn't to think "hmm, I wonder if he's about to miss this vital turn on purpose". I think "there must be a good reason why he can't take his turn". I even waited for over an hour for him to show up, so I don't feel at all guilty for taking the turn. In fact, I'll do it again if the situation arises.
It's pretty funny how you think you're portraying yourself as some sort of champion of justice, exposing KoRT for the thugs they are, when the reality is you're exposing yourself as the joke you are. I'm pretty sure most of your teammates are embarrassed, but too intimidated by you to say so. I can't wait until we've crushed you and this war is over, so I will never have to read a single post of yours ever again. Which, I am fairly sure, is the attitude most people who play you have.
Well done, though. You managed to provoke me into answering you as if you even mattered.
