yea but his confidence wont be high and like i said if he concedes 2 early on would they still keep him in.i know he will start but this is winner takes all and would they take the gamble of keeping him in if he concedes early.if he concedes in 2nd or 3rd they'll keep him in.

I don't know how he has any less confidence than he did in Game 5. He knows he's great at home.

After Monday night in Bean Town I expect Luongo
to be more focused than ever.
I'm expecting an awesome finish for the Cup
and hope like hell that AoG didn't pick Van to win.

Luongo has really fallen apart to pressure.. dissapointed with his play in 7, really expected a war, he looks like a deer in a rednecks spot light.
If I hear "the first team to score has gone on to win all 6 games" one more time I'm going to kill myself
All in all a great series, godlike goal tending by thomas.

Wow. What the f*ck is wrong with Luongo? I feel like he won't even start next season.

Double post...
I wonder if the Canuck fans that paid $4000-$5000 for their tickets last night have a tad bit of buyers remorse this morning?

Wow... doesn't Boston know how to produce awesome Championship Teams or what?

Get off the NBC (or whichever channel it is) and watch the CBC broadcast in future. At least for hockey. Far better commentators.

Yup... that was an awesome win in Vancouver. It was obvious
with the games in Boston that they could get it done but
I expected more from the Canucks on their home ice.
I don't see it as Luongo's failure to keep them out, the entire
team looked a step slower and seemed to be chasing the Bruins
for most of the game. That was painful to watch.
Finally... Van get's a power play and they get no shots on goal
but give up a short handed goal. Ouch! My expectations of a
classic Game 7 finale pretty much ended right there.
The Bruins played like Champions last night.

Indeed they did. To me, Vancouver looked, the whole game, like they were letting their nerves get the better of them. Shaky passes, fumbling the puck all over the place, no real direction.
At least they managed to burn a few dozen cars.

I must say that the Vancouver fans showed class and graciousness in their defeat. The arena was packed after the game ended as they cheered their team and the winners and even Tim Thomas during the presentation of the trophy to him.
Class act all the way Vancouver. Kudos.
That would not have happened in Montreal.
Edit: I was posting the above message and saw that Timminz fast posted me so I had to make this edit.
I am absolutely certain that the car burnings were not by people that attended the games but by hooligans imported from Montreal.

Well put Notyou2, I was happy to see the canucks fans stick around and show their appreciation for the teams. I was actually wondering how long the fans would stick around till there was a dash for the parking lot, you don't see that very often in any sport. Classy move for sure.
As for the riots, everyones got a asshole, every man, every city, every team. Id bet a lot of the rioters didn't even care much about the game, only saw a chance for anarchy.. Can't wait for next year.
As for the channel I was watching on, I like Dan Patrick, that was the only reason I didn't go flipping the channel.

As someone who got a taste of CBC during the Pens/Lightning series, no fucking way. I would rather NBC over CBC any day. The CBC scoreboard looks like it's still from the 80s and the commentators are annoying.

To each their own. I'll admit the production values are greater with NBC, but I disagree with the commentator comment. I am glad Pierre McGuire does the NBC games because every time I hear him speak I want to punch something. Also with the NBC guys, they are explaining the game and rules all the time. It is brutal. I know they have to for Americans that don't understand the game, but come on.

The only reason I watch NBC is because I can get that in HD, where CBC I can't. I prefer CBC, especially Don Cherry.

So you watch the game on NBC and between the first and second on CBC

I only saw the games on NBC and the rest I had to follow on the web.

Well, folks, it's all over but the crying. I must say that there will have been a lot of weeping, literally and figuratively. Shop owners, insurance brokers, municipal government workers and some of the most extreme vandals who have already been charged.

As for the series, Vancouver seemed to just let it go... I wonder who was paying them off?

Nerves I would guess.

The contrast in speed and energy Vancouver had in Game 1 vs Game 7
is huge. I think the playoffs and Boston beat them up
and wore them out.
I don't think it was nerves and I don't blame Roberto Luongo either.

the sedins never really got into the games plus luongo was shit away from home but take no credit away from Boston they outscored Van in the series and had a seemingly invincible keeper.
