Now it's time for strike's CCer of the day.

This one goes to diddle for his contributions to this thread. It is my understanding that diddle is not currently here to accept his award is that correct? So I will accept it on his behalf. I know that if I were diddle, I would like to thank all the other loyal threaders for supporting me. Other than that I don't really feel comfortable speaking on his behalf and will leave the rest for when he returns.

You do realize that not only is this amount excessive but it's so excessive that you will probably be laughed right out of court? I'd recommend coming back with a more reasonable amount before actually trying to sue me.

i rember they said the same thing about a MCDONALDS case. were the lady burnt alot herself with coffee???? and since you live in aounther state we go to fedral court. more expensive so i included them in the sueing

Still you have to admit to yourself that $700 billion is a ridiculous amount to sue for.

Well, i gotta extra coupla pounds here - they were for the curlson's teachers, but the school is shut due to a snowstorm warning - which scuppers my plans for the day, Luckily the curlette has gone into Manhattan for "Take Your Children to Work" day with her Mum.

wait let me get this stright they closed school because the weather people reported a large snow storm coming?

Oh ya. We've now had several inches of snow, the roads must be chaos. I just watched a delivery van trying to get up the hill, he was going all over the place (he made it though. the van must have Pony Express in its genes somewhere!)

ok here is my question. did the snow start before??? they cancled school. where i went to high school there had to be about 1 and 1/2 feet of snow already on the ground also it still had to be snowing

No, the previous snow had all gone - but the forecast was pretty certain, and i think they were afraid of kids (and staff) being unable to get home.

And besides that, there was some magic worked by the kids ("If you want a snow day tomorrow, text this to 5 other pupils..")

well i worked at target for the first time in about 4 months so bouring

The dullest job I ever had was working a production line for Goldwell (the people that make Babycham and Snowball).
I would will myself not to look at the clock for as long as I could possibly manage, and then, sure that I'd find I was at least two hours closer to going home, I'd find out that may 8 or 9 minutes had passed.
