hade of black pvc, varying diams for the barrel and expansion chamber with some other dodads.....the best propellant I have found is old fashioned right guard in the brown can......have used compressed air, propane mixture, various hygiene products (hairspray, deoderant etc), starting fluid, butane and wd40......how about you?

When was that? Yesterday?
Chortle chortle.
Incidentally, I love haha's contributions, even when they're something like "This map sucks" to something I'm working on. Reading all his posts at once is very 21st century (click on "profile" under his name, and the little link that says "Find all posts by haha".

KoolBak: How about compressed air stored in a 20 gallon propane tank?
The ground was rushing up at me. It had been one heck of a ride. And suddenly I wondered………
Who packed my parachute?

I have a 5 gallon mobile tank I loaded with 150 psi and dumped into a similar sized expansion chamber....have a 3" ball valve to release.....just did not work as well....I sure thot it would but only got around 50 yds.....is the larger tank better? do you leave it open / the WHOLE tank, and what psi...?
I have found that the potato makes alot of diff...proper loading.
