I knew a girl once, a very sweet one who decided to kep a pet tarantula. After a coupla weeks, she had to sell it on - she had been advised to feed it on grasshoppers, which she bought live from the same pet shop she got the spider. But she kept naming the grasshoppers, and felt a sense of loss every time the tarantula ate.

Well that's the key you don't name what is supposed to get eaten. Everyone knows that.

Dennie didn't. Man, she was hot. Sorry, I digress. She used to model for Life Drawing classes. I don't know how the students kept their mind on the drawing.

Agh, help computer geeks. What does CPU usage and obviously it's not good when it's handing around the 20%-60% range, right? Also, because of this, would that start freezing my computer or what?

Or maybe something extreme and untrue like "OMG turn off your computer now cause it's about to go nuclear" bad.

I have a guy coming to look at both my computers today (and another to mend the tumble drier - expensive day). ONe crashed, and seems to run now, but I want to see if I can recover any of the data that's dissappeared. THe other has no sound (which I can live with, but while he's here...) and now the monitor has developed a strobe effect.

The monitor on my PC used to constantly buzz, I paid for numerous guys to come out and take a look, and none could work it out. Then I that my house phone was right next to it, and caused it to buzz. That was £70 in call-outs down the drain.

The juke-box in my local pub (many houses ago) used to pick up the police radio. Very useful to certain types.

You talk to Beep-beep and hoppy, too? Don't try to ring them back - your long-distance deal doesn't cover Earth-to-Blimfjogg calls, and the rates are v high.
