This is something I'm still a bit unclear of. Is the top 128 that qualified automatically in and waiting for games?jonofperu wrote:So if we're on the list we just wait for the tourney to start now?
Good question.Winged Cat wrote: And what's with the "in please"s - isn't it way too late for that now?

It's too late for sign ups. aalii is the only one of you who made the cut.Turu2001 wrote:Im in??

This is a fact.lisbon101 wrote:It´s time for 1v1 battle.
Yes. Should be games today/tomorrow.jonofperu wrote:So if we're on the list we just wait for the tourney to start now?
Yes, trash talk is a must if you don't want booted.RobbieDub wrote:If you don't trash talk another player before the tourney starts then you get booted and one of the guys that showed up and said in please as of today takes your spot.![]()
With that said let me say that I will be kicking ass this tourney and I hope it all starts with jonofperu!
Freemiums have an exemption for round 1. If you make it past round 1, you'll need to get premium to continue. Expect a PM about that. And yes, it's too late to enter.Winged Cat wrote:For freemiums in the top 128 on the list, should we avoid joining any further games (including tournaments, invitations, bot games - everything) until the tourney starts?

Sorry, you're score was too low to qualify. It's not based solely on longevity and game mass.xroads wrote:You would of thought a player with over 10,000 1 vs 1 games would of qualified in the top 128.
Guess not
Oh! Well then, umm, err...chapcrap wrote:Yes, trash talk is a must if you don't want booted.
So the rest of them are "out please"?chapcrap wrote:It's too late for sign ups. aalii is the only one of you who made the cut.
whew glad I had that figured out!chapcrap wrote:Yes, trash talk is a must if you don't want booted.RobbieDub wrote:If you don't trash talk another player before the tourney starts then you get booted and one of the guys that showed up and said in please as of today takes your spot.![]()

Yes and you're in luck! All my full length spandex are now fitted w/ ruffles at the bottom. Although I have to warn you, they're tear-offs so you'll have to be careful if you don't want any unsuspected surprises.RobbieDub wrote:And with that in mind I plan on wiping up all of the floors with EBConquer because I heard he always wears frilly pants!
You should get all 7 at the same time. Exceptions for freemium from the admin.HighlanderAttack wrote:Round 1a: 128 Players, 16 Groups of 8, Seeded by Score (7 games per player)--Are you only sending one game at a time? I know I can take four at a time if that helps.
So since I am freemium I can only get one at a time? I can take four at a time if that is possible.chapcrap wrote:You should get all 7 at the same time. Your eyes tricked you? Or maybe you thought it was Mongol Empire?Jurasu wrote:Am I missing something? Made moves in the four games I could go first. One was on Mongol Empire. After taking all my turns, I went back to make a note on that one but it's no longer in my list of games. Can anyone clarify?
The game could have gotten deleted as a mistake. bigWham created the games using an automation system and I think messed up the first time.Jurasu wrote:Well I also wished my opponent good luck and then made mention of making voodoo dolls for all of my opponents. Kind of a distinctive good luck post that I cannot find.

There will be information in the second post. We may have an automated scoreboard link at some point.jghost7 wrote:zips5000 wrote:Is there a scoreboard someplace to look at?
Yeah, would like to see that too.

Yes, we got it. Here is a link that I'll put in the second post: http://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?m ... ent_id=312pearljamrox2 wrote:yes, there is an automated scoreboard. From my homepage, there is a tournament tab. It has this tournament in it, and if you click the link for"details" it takes you to a page that has all the players in the tournament, their record, games remaining, points, and if you scroll to the bottom, it has every single game, which map(the map it shows is a link to the game), the players in the game, what round it is in, and the complete games show who won. I love this feature..it's really great, check it out
You have the correct amount of games. There will be no replacement.Namliam wrote:Game 13918085 was deleted. I haven't received a replacement game yet.
Wins do reset after each round. 1a and 1b are each considered to be part of round 1. That information is in the notes and rules in the OP.NoSurvivors wrote:Will the wins reset after round 1a for round 1b? And if not, do they reset at all until the bracket?
I hadn't looked at the results yet, but that is some good information. We'll see how round 1b goes and who gets eliminated.agentcom wrote:After all the concern about giving people a fair shot at playing, I am noticing that non-officers are 3/22 in their games. I know it's early, but that's an indication that you could perhaps allow the entries based on points as was originally planned. (There's also the caveat that I'm sure there are some lower officers there near the top of the scoreboard that wouldn't have got in based on points alone.)
Then again, it seems like more fun to allow people a bunch of different ways into the tournament. I guess you've just got to balance that against the fact that every time you let someone in through one of the alternative methods, you take the place of someone else who (at least the early results show) would be better suited for the tournament.
