I have 2 comments.

1) Going around the world from Shandong to a nameless country is not logical to me.
2) The purpose of the Great Wall is to defend against attacks from the north. Now you have Nei Mongol being able to attack Gansu one way is a contrary to this construction.

Wisse...most of this is fine tooth combing but i think they could do with improvement to make this a really great map:
* the green map colour stands out like a sore thumbs in chengdu, it doesn't flow with the other colours used in the design, but keep it if you don't really want to change it...it just looks out of place.
* there is some white/grey pixelation happening around the korean peninsula and below guanxi..is this deliberate?
* the army number appear to be off centre on the army shadows...what size army shadow r u using....is it because of the drop shadow on them
* there is major pixelation occuring around the army shadows that have a bottle top edge to them.
* hainan and taiwan appear to have different thickness coastlines than the mainland..is this deliberate?
* there is a round shadow at the western end of the great wall on the brown area, and also on the southern end of the w.xizang mountains on that brown area
* in jiangsu, there is a black mark appearing under the army shadow...is this part of the coasstline...it looks odd and interferes with the army shadow
* in fujian, the tail of the j crosses into the army shadow...again interference with the army circle
* i think there is some room in many territories for army shadow placement to improve so that they don't sit on top of something or are too close to somethings else...i understand that army shadows should sit independantly where there is space.
& u could call the extra around the world route...marco polos trade route

1) read what the others said, i change that...
2) also read what the others sayed it is china as it would be war now, so i thought that nei mongol would take the wall

*i thought it looked good because then there was a bit difference
*i did this on purpose but if more people don't like it i can put the black border back and it would be like the other coast areas
*if i put them one to the left they are a pixel to far to the left and this looked better than too the left so i choosed this one ;)
*whats a bottle top edge?
*done on purpose if you look good you can see a bit brown between the black line and the blurred line
*oh yeah i forgot to change the texture on that edited piece it will be updated in the next update ;)
*yeah thats coast line, but i will delete that piece ;)
*i will move the army shade downwards

*why move them? aren't they on the right place?, if you know better placements say them and i will change them ;)
& i think the route around the world must be replaced for something else

thnx for your comment :)

OK....but it just looks odds, but don't change

OK.

if you make them 22 pxl min or 24 pxl it is easy to centre...maybe the dropshadow makes them look odd.
*whats a bottle top edge?
I have to go to work now, but will send you an image tonight when i get home again.
*why move them? aren't they on the right place?, if you know better placements say them and i will change them ;)
I post the rest tonight

Wisse...below is a 22px small image of bottle top edges...a circle with little spikes around the edges.

Maybe this is nothing to worry about but I magnify your map and see these on amry shadow.

Other ones:
Shandong army shadow move down little bit
Liaoning sits over the border...move right
Hebei too close too ying yang sign...move left little
Fujian move down little
Guizhou move down little

All rest good.

You see why people keep raising this Great Wall issue? Because it doesn't make sense. Maybe you can make it clear on the map to show people why it is the way it is now.

update:
changed army shades from 24px to 22px and changed xml
changed the army circles border
changed the pieces of land on the unplayable land
removed a bit of the coastline
made it clear that it is a war of the future and so the wall belongs to nei mongol then

I'm not fond of the "A War in The Future" label, the theme of a future war doesn't really suit the map in my opinion. Would it perhaps be easier to just add a gap in the wall and make it a two way border?

then i could easyer delete the wall, because it has no purpose then...
and why doesn't it suit the map?

Fair enough, just a suggestion.

I think your map looks kind of soft and gentle (for a Risk map), and reminds me of times past. If you're going to stick with the future theme though, can I suggest just having a year under the name as opposed to the sub-title. 2052, 3001, etc.

That sounds pretty good. Actually, I'm not really sure why you need another name for it, but that one is good if it's the direction you are taking.

update:
Image
Image
changed title

Image
other things than the big map:
army circles 20px (instead of the tinyer circles when i resized it)
names 3px (instead of 2,63px when i resized it)
also finished xml of the tiny version:
Image

xml

the only things that aren't done (or much negative feedback):
give \\\ something extra
much complaiments about the arrows being not good (but then i asked what was wrong they didn't answer)

so i guess it is final forge time (or nearly) ;)

"The Forgotten War" is also a name for the Korean War...

I suggest you don't name it that.
