If we were going by the most current ladder, KORT would be 16th. Don't get me wrong, they have a lot of talent, but they have tied G1 and beat the Brethren (who are winless and at the bottom of the bottom). I don't see how you can put down TOFU being #2 while claiming KORT is getting a bad end of things. IA and EMPIRE could have easily swapped places. We have shown ourselves for longer though (7-1 in challenges in case you weren't aware), so I'm glad we got the edge. Hopefully we'll meet soon to see who deserves it.

O&H is on a good streak as well. I thought they would have been up a spot or two, but again, look at your defeats versus your losses. Certainly the LOW win is huge, and you also took down Mythology and the Eternal Empire (both very low seeded here 14 and 19 respectively). But you lost to BSS who is ranked above you here and also Divine Domination who got a 15th seed here. I think if you have one more big win that will put you higher up on the map. Certainly you look like a tough up and coming clan.

You really did not say that with a straight face did you? Seeing as Season 1 you finished 26 back of the winner, and are down 18 as of right now in Season 2. No offense to Empire, but the league is a good measuring stick of a clans strength. You can say what you want about the setup of the league, season 1 or 2, but all clans have the same setup. Season 1 finished just about where everybody should be. And season 2 is not having many surprises other than THOTA laying over and dying a painful death these last 2 weeks.

Say what you want about where people should be ranked or whatever, but the league tells the story in plain numbers.

hey, nobody was more surprised than us! there was some crazy shit going on in those games, i think it's a bit unfair to say we rolled over...

i think #12 is underrating you no doubt, but you need to prove yourselves a little more, before wiping the floor with us you didnt have the best track record. maybe challenge empire or something (i like them, but think they are a little overrated) use that to your advantage

And besides.... you are going to need it after we get you guys back for that ass whoopin you put on us... never again my friend... never again. you beat us way worse than thota and tsm combined!!!

Just a ? for TSM, why again did they decide not to participate while everyone else did? scared?

It's quite simple. Most of the monkeys don't want to play in it. We've been playing cla and this 80-game war against thota for months now and we're getting burnt out. Some of our top players are loosing interest before these two things are over. It's not easy to play well in cla and against thota, as you can see from some of the clans who have won some impressive clan wars and yet are getting spanked in cla, or the other way round for others.

We take a lot of pride in our games and give it our all, but after thota and cla, we want to stop playing these stressful games for a bit. This conquer cup is starting too soon after cla and thota end. We really don't want to commit to potentially 4 more clan wars, culminating in possibly another 68 games against thota. Plus we would be starting season 3 of cla before this was over. If the cup could have waited till maybe mid april, we might have been able to muster up enough guys to join.

We could only get about 4 or 5 guys who would commit to this, so...

Very true. Clearly you have many good doubles teams. That's half the battle. I wasn't putting you guys down, just saying you haven't shown it in challenges yet, which I know you will. I think the lack of challenges you have had is what works against you in that respect. Cows are tough to get moving, but when you do, they go full steam ahead without really taking notice of all the damage they do around them.

Are you kidding Bruce. The first season was all doubles and initially was not going to count for anything. We used it as practice games. We finished just above .500, which was great considering our approach. This league has 50% doubles as well. Meanwhile, you are active in the forum saying that doubles are not a good indicator of a clan's ability because it has too much luck, and trips and quads are what should be focused on in challenges and the league. A bit hypocritical with your last comment. At the same time, you are saying that 8 game sets against a clan is more telling than 40-60 games? Get your head out of your ass before you spout out at the mouth Bruce.

I hope to see you in the second round so we can settle this where it matters.

So AoC can start our war with LotZ, once both clans are ready? Rather than wait for Feb 13th.

I'm assuming that we need not keep a running tally of games per player, since there is no 15 game restriction?

Hey, I ranked you guys 4th I think. I am sure the O&H challenge was a fluke and you will prove me right here soon, especially if you are around for this whole think Reptile. I haven't forgotten our 31 round trips game. It still hurts.

Phew. Sorry for posting so much, but the above link used to be my "most active forum topic" in my profile. It reminded me all too well of that beating. Now I finally passed that with this thread.

Yes, AoC and LotZ can start anytime they both agree. As I changed in the first post, please put "C.C." at the beginning of the title for the forum you create. However, if either clan disagrees, they don't have to start until February 13. But if you all both want to you can start tonight for all I care.

I like all of the trash talk coming now. Should be interesting to see how all of these games turn out.

And I agree with Lubawski on one thing. I would love to meet KORT in the 2nd round. Obviously a few of there players think EMPIRE is over rated and I am excited to prove they belong behind us!

But, more importantly, we have to win our first round game and they still have to beat G1 after their last tie to them!!

They would qualify. Good to have a tournament like this that will connect most of the clans. A few B rated clans could make the jump to A,however, they certainly have their work cut out for them based ont he rankings.
