Due to increased work commitments and internet availability limiting my access to CC, I am withdrawing my team Warrior Kings from the tourney.

Quick question - what happens to the loser of game 11? Do they just get eliminated? It would seem so from the schedule which has been posted.

Seems unfair that they could be eliminated for one loss when everyone else gets at least one...

it is double elimation, did both teams in game 11 already lose 1 each? check with optimus prime maybe, i would have to go look and cant now

Nope - the teams in game 11 when it happens will be unbeaten... They are in the winners bracket

But looking at the losers bracket there is no game involving the loser of game 11, so it would seem that the losing team in game 11 gets single elimination

Seems like a flaw in the set up of the draw.

Ugh, figuring this out is not going to be pretty. Not pretty at all. This might take me a little while this evening. Be patient.

Okay guys, it took a bit for me to work out, but what we are going to do is add one extra game to the Loser's Bracket. Game 20 will now determine who plays the loser from Game 11. This will be Game 21, and the winner will earn a spot in the Championship Game against the winner of Game 11.

If none of that makes sense to you, don't worry, I'll keep track of it.

I also updated the forms at the top of the thread to reflect the change. I guess I should have known better than to assume soundout9 had competence.....ugh. He'll be the end of me yet. :rolls:
