Didn't miss anything, I ended up getting a fever on top of everything else. So I've been pretty much down and out and wasn't able to do the update like I had hoped. Going to try to push through it now before my own self imposed 2400 CCT deadline to keep us on schedule.

Just throwing this out there ...

When are we allowed to use // or in what cases will the RANDOM map setting be used? ... I see one just created and not started yet

Tournament Game: CR@W: the Bannermen - E#17

Houses can't use Random. There maybe a few other game mechanics that use / allow it but Houses can't.
The game you are referencing had an error in the game (random) thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Update is done. I'm off to bed. Thanks for your patience. TUrn 17 is due Saturday by 2400 CCT. I will probably update sunday daytime, depends how I feel Sat night.

IcePack,

Anytime you need to take an extra day or two to get healthy, deal with RL, or have a a RL, etc. - DO IT!

The game's not going anywhere. We all know how much work you are putting into this, and if the game lasts 1 month longer than projected, so be it!

Take care of yourself buddy, we can wait.

Thanks again for this fun add-on to the normal CC experience.

Thanks everyone. Honestly, I would much rather spend my sick time here updating then laying around being sick. And my eye will start twitchin' if I miss deadlines.
So the only question is whether I'm physically to tired / drowsy or whatever to make it happen. But if I'm able, I'll be doing it.
I've been resting since Monday, resting sucks!

IcePack,

Do Houses get a share of your gold for taking over abandoned cities or is it assumed that when the Lord leaves, he takes the wealth with him?

Also ... if he takes it with him ... should you then be excluding uncontrolled Cities from the calculation when a Castle is taken?

Would we also be getting a share of the Gold savings when conquering a City protected by a Lord?

If you dont demo the City @ a cost of 5 GP and you simply leave / abandon it, its still considered one of your citys and will count for gold stealing. Same goes for uncontrolled cities when castles are taken. If they exist, and they are yours, controlled or uncontrolled it will count towards the share of gold lost when someone takes over that City.
So if you are leaving a city for a long duration, and have considerable assets you wish to protect, you might want to consider destroying it before you go.

-------------

Seperate note, due to unforseeable circumstances, I'll be having to play the Seige! games even vs FALL clans. This will be for the forseeable future until I can find a backup option thats roughly equal in experience / skill thats not associated with a clan. But, I promise to play it like any other game and try to win...at this point, its for my own pride I need to win some :D

I'm confused why they have to not be associated with a clan. If it's just playing a game without seeing the map (and why would they need to see a map)? If you are concerned that the person might see who is playing for Fallen, well we can figure some of that out anyway. Like I said, if you decide it doesn't matter, I'd volunteer. I tend to play reasonably fast, but not real time in most instances.

Well, I don't want to have cross play where people are playing for one house, and then playing other situations for other things etc. So ideally I'm looking for someone outside of the game currently. But in general, someone outside of clans just in general to remove the possibility of favoritism etc.

I'm more concerned with someone of roughly equal skill, so if I was going to go outside of the current plan and find someone within a clan, or outside of clans, or wherever, the idea is that a clan playing me for control of the castle would have roughly the same difficulty level as someone else attacking another castle elsewhere.

Going from me, to josko would be a significant jump in skill level, for example. (or you, or most other volunteers to help are probably better realistically) Every clan winning all their games, and then other clans getting 100% loses is just not fair. I know I can be fair / play my 100% vs all, so since the original default plan didn't work due to unforseen, I'll look for someone but in the meantime, I was just letting it be known I'll probably end up getting a few games as to not delay CR@W.
