*cough*
you obviously have very poor reading comprehension, because the suggestion obviously went over your head. i don't think i have ever played a game against you and if you had, you would realize i chat very little in games (i play team or poly)... outside of a GL or GG, i don't bother with chat... you should stick to the topic and stop showing everyone why you were let go from a volunteer position that paid so well... and again, this would be abused and complaints would rain in about secret alliances as soon as this was implemented... Ronc would have a field day with alliances to kill people that have him on mute... good luck with moderating all of that chaos this would create... very poorly thought out idea, no way this would even be considered... either foe and move on, or suck it up, cupcake...-Jésus noir

Solution to not being able to see chat: View game while logged out, you get a full view of chat. Anyone who makes an erroneous C&A report can be dealt with accordingly.

Toggle Mute on Foes
Currently, foes are automatically muted. I'd like the option to see chat of foed players (perhaps a global toggle, or even a per-message option like on the forums).
I foe players because I don't want them joining my games. If we are currently still in games (or in the same tournament), I still want to be able to see their chat. Not necessarily to interact with them, but to be aware of any alliances they may be planning with other players. It's quite annoying to manually unfoe/foe them just to check chat for any comments.

- Don't know if its been mentioned, But I think if a person is foed, They shouldn't be able to even visit the foer's profile along with being able to join foer's games, kinda creepy that I can foe someone and they are able to go to my profile and know who's contacting me or read messages left to me. Yes or No?

sounds like a lot of work to me... i personally don't use the foe feature, because i'm an adult... i just find it amusing that anyone thinks this is going to get coded... so many larger issues than the few last members (under 9K now), trying to not play games against each other... the irony of this suggestion while in the midst of the great decline is wholly amusing... rage on!!! you will get those windmills one day!!!-Jésus noir

Separate foeing for games and forums

Concise description:
Separate foeing for games and forums
Specifics/Details:
Two separate options to foe someone in the forums and foe them in games
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
Allows users to play games with people they like playing with, while avoiding reading that user's troll forum posts

This is an excellent idea, and I thought about proposing it, too.
Perhaps an "Ignore" button? You wouldn't read the person's forum posts, but you could still play them.
It would be nice to extend the Ignore function to global chat as well, but may not be possible.
So I went to this great thing called the Master Suggestions Index, clicked on the "Foe" Link in the TOC, and wow! A thread showed up, the very first one, about Foe List 2.0- Foe Customization. I clicked it and golly gee! A wonderful very similar thread.
I'm giving you a hard time, sorry, but I did spend about an hour just encompassing everything like this into that thread.

Could've used that hour to code the modification that people have been asking for for 7 years.

not that easy mrs wdk, this one would require a database modification, multiple pages modification and some code modification too.
at leat 4 hours to be done well, from planning to light testing, then it would have to be tested in the beta site .

If I could code we wouldn't have most of these suggestions laying around still.

horrible idea, the C&A complaints will come raining down... obviously, there is a reason this has not been implemented, do you want to know what that is? it is a shitty idea...-Jésus noir

I can think of no reason why it would. Whatever was said before was obviously BS.

If mrswdk supports it, better put it at the bottom of the pile.
