Ill give this to Spurg because he got two of the three, they beat the Pats and the Kick Returner and former Heisman winner Desmond Howard got the MVP. And yes, I was reffering to the Packers, whose hall of Fame player was Reggie White, RIP.
Go right ahead, you Patriot-loving bastard

Attaboy djt, we'll take any sort of support we can get with most of the country against us. Not that we need it, or anything. [scoffs]. But yeah, those late 90's teams were fun. "Mrs." Terry Glenn, the great (but immobile as hell) Drew Bledsoe, Pete Carrol before he realized how easy to cheat it is in college. Ahh, memories.
Anyways, time for a bit more homestate pride. Feel free to shoot this down if no likee, I'm not feeling that tuned in today.
Who was ranked by Sports Illustrated as the greatest athlete born in the state of Massachusetts?
there are athletes in massachusetts? jk, and im rooting for the patriots cuz i wanna see someone run the table in my lifetime, and ive always been a brady and moss fan
It goes downhill pretty fast after the top 6 or so, but there are some decent sports figures from MA, relative to its size. The question should read "Sports Figures", by the way. And the list was released in 2000, if it makes a difference, although I can't think of any amazing figures to come out of Massachusetts in the last eight years.
I really cannot think of anyone else from Massachusetts. Naismith (inventor of basketball) maybe? I have been to Springfield to the Basketball Hall of Fame, so if it is sports figures . . .
Edit:
Oh, hell. I broke down and looked up Naismith, he is f'in canadian.
All right: a gimme, sorry about lasting so damn long without giving one (I'm a wee bit inebriated, sorry about everything) but the answer is the only boxer to retire undefeated.
