Something simple because I have to leave.

How many wins did the Seattle Mariners accrue during the 2001 season, including playoffs?

I seem to recall they had 116 in the regular season, 3 to win the LDS, then lost the LCS 4-2... so that would make 121.

Incorrect. You're off by one, and I won't tell you which way.

Let's go with 120 then, since they didn't win more than 116 regular-season games, and the LCS didn't go to 7 games (I think), so I'm almost certainly not over.

Correct. They lost the LCS to the NY Stankees 4-1.

Just to clarify, that was correct. Oklahoma quarterback Josh Heupel lost to Chris Weinke in the 2000 Heisman balloting, but ended up beating him in the 2001 Orange Bowl.

New question:
What did Anna "McJuggsalot" Benson threaten to do if her husband Kris, then a member of the Mets, ever cheated on her?

Yeah, I know, kind of a bogue question, but I can't think up anything much better at the moment...

i believe she threatened to sleep with everyone on the team and pretty much anyone who was involved with the mets organization.

sorry i didnt see it right away, but no sugar ray is not the answer.

Wasn't even Sugar Ray Robinson?

nope....a lot of his best work was at welter...by the time he ended up at middleweight he was already getting up there...even though hes still considered a top 5 middleweight of all time, he never strung that many title defenses together.

Well, my knowledge of boxers in that weight back in history isnt too great, it'd be better if it was a present question...

Ill go with De la Hoya, just because he was in near every weight class... :?

by got tonkaed
incorrect, while holding some belts, de la hoya only held a disputed form of the middleweight belt and did not defend it.

hey sorry i forgot to give some hints here....the fighter im thinking of successfully defended the middleweight title 14 times hold wins over fighters like....

nino benvenuit, emilie griffith and rodrigo valdez

he was also in the 1970 fight of the year.

So did he hold the belts before or after they split into seperate categories? I believe it was late 60's to early 70's when they split the titles, though i have no idea who had it then...

to the best of my recollection, he did end up holding a few differnet belts, but was at the time the universally recognized middleweight champion.
