Going to be an exiting quarter final.

I think Man Utd need to be careful though, Bayern still ahve some really good players and if they turn up on the night they could easily cause an upset.

I think everyone has been hoping for an Arsenal vs Barcelona match for the past couple of years, the two teams who play the best and most open football against each other. The amount of quality in the middle of the pitch in those matches is going to be extraordinary.

Honestly think Inter vs CSKA could be the most exiting of the quarters with Inter dreaming of the semis (although Morinho is hardly going to slack in preparations) and CSKA knowing that they have nothing to lose after getting this far.

Lyon/Bordeaux is hardly mouth watering compared to the others.

Btw, Europa league draw is:

Fulham v Wolfsburg
Hamburg v Standard Liege
Valencia v Atletico Madrid (I'll be watching this one, Aguero vs Villa hopefully)
Benfica v Liverpool

That Fulham comeback reminded me of our own personal tour of Europe, brought a tear to the eye and to the wallet, I had Juve down to win the europa league

not a bad result considering we were down to 9 men. first part of the treble safely in the bag. :D

Fulham 1 Man City 2 :D

Santa Cruz, Tevez.

back into 5th 1 point behind Spurs with a game in hand. 9 games left, 6 of them at home.

going to the Birmingham game on the 11th of April. then try and get a ticket for Villa or Spurs.

I am absolutely confident that my team Liverpool will continue this fabulous season by winning the extremely important Europa League. Defeat to Man U? Who cares?

At least Hibs aren't out of the Scottish Cup yet.

A textbook example of irony. Good stuff!

Amazing work by Blackburn too, I'd fully expected Chelski to bounce back from CL disappointment but, happily, they dropped the ball... so to speak... Now if we can just beat them it's as good as in the bag [-o<

Dont count out Arsenal!

Boro 1-1 Reading.

Threw it away. We battered them for most of the game. Looks like we are in the championship for one more year

Iniesta vs Messi vs Aguero vs Christiano Ronaldo? I know Messi would result the best player but, how about Iniesta's quiet work, or Aguero?

Iniesta's hardly a quiet worker lol, his talent is always on display. I think Xavi is the quieter (and more effective imo) of the two, although they really are a so much better together then alone.

I think Aguero could really be something special if he comes to Chelsea/Arsenal or another big club.

Best result for a while... Chelsea drawing 1-1 at the weekend. They are in pieces after their past two games. This season is heating up something special and will go down right to the wire. Arsenal or Man U to win it though.

Cheers, JB ;)

Im not the kind of guy who jumps on bandwagons, but mowbray needs sacked. He can't instill a winning mentallity in players and his tactics are uncomprehendable. 3 times this season in games we are struggling in he has put midfielders (mcgeady, brown n'geumo) at left back, wtf is that about.

Thanks fuk rangers lost there chance at a treble or I wud never here the end of tonights results.

Mowbray's gone! And all the rangers fans out there are sighing and shaking their heads that such a great manager could be gone.

And Hibs are now out of the cup. To Ross County! Ross County anyone? Anyone?
My new hope of Hibs is that we may soon win a game again

Ross County? You mean such a place really exists? I gave this guy a bed for the night years ago and he said he was from there but i just thought he was talking drunken bollocks...
Mowbray was never gonna set the world alight, I mean, West brom were hardly renowned for style!

Yeah I watched it on some chinese/sopcast channel. I was enjoying the first half, but then Villa were just shit in the 2nd. I don't think we should be too worried 'cos chelski weren't loads better in one half than another, Villa just basically didn't come back out for the 2nd half! Annoyingly it was the best live feed I've ever seen, like watching proper telly... then couldn't get a decent feed for the United game, typical!
Predictions for CL this week? I'll go for a score-draw in Munich and hope Arsenal can get some measure of revenge on Barca

I reckon score draw for both English teams in CL, Lyon and Inter to win their matches. I'm supporting Chelsea to win on Saturday though and I think they will because their midfield is really hitting their stride now with all of them playing well, only the defence is a bit of a concern with Carvalho and Ivanovic missing.

Excellent performance by Munich after conceding such and early goal. Now they have the difficult task of going to Old Trafford and getting a result.

Good luck to Arsenal tomorrow night Barcelona will be very difficult to beat.
