I cleared firefox cache, but no change.
New snapshots line up, old ones from before the map changed do not.
And you can't change it. That is the way snapshots are stored - if the map is changed it can't place numbers on correct places.

Naah, every update etc. counts as an install, when I do an update the daily count goes to 1400 or so, and some more the next 2 days. So I'd say it has around 1000 users, maybe less, if taking into account that ppl install a version twice on average (I myself use it on 3-4 computers, and I know there are others like me).

Still a bit confused what set this off exactly, but I'm looking into performance gains now..
Could someone who has this problem try out the beta? I made a small change to it (relevant to what I changed for the last version), it should improve the performance a bit. And if it works, please let me know. I haven't found a way to simulate the problem here.

They just won't advance (nothing happens), I look to the old drop down menu and that is empty. So i have to refresh and then use the drop down, which works OK but diplay window just says "Undefined"
No idea what happens here yet, some issues seemed related to an older version of greasemonkey (though according to the documentation, it should work for any version after 0.8.1. But that clearly isn't the case with you (And I guess drunkmonkey has some similar issue), I'll check this out later.

Yep, Dako is right. Though I know a way to get around that now, but that hasn't been implemented yet.

Yeah, I figured the positions were saved with the snapshots. I left the report generic on the tiny chance that updating the old snapshots with new positions would be simple, knowing that it likely would not be. And if not very simple, converting the old snapshots would not be worth it.

still getting the 'stop script' error EVERY time I click on 'move to next game'
the system is 'loading' for ever it seems, then the 'stop script' box pops up and when I click 'stop script' it goes away and the next game appears.
system says I have all lastest versions of BOB and Map Ranks, clickable maps..etc.
don't know what to do now???
sounds dumb, but how do I uninstall BOB and Map rank, etc, then reinstall all the add on scripts?????

I have had 2 problems that have recently occurred with my BoB..
1. On initial troop deployment territories are not color coded by user like they were before.
2. BoB isn't updating unless I hit F5, meaning I don't get an accurate assessment of troops due or after I reinforce it doesn't show the movement of troops unless I hit F5.
Obviously I have gotten around both hiccups by refreshing the page mid turn by hitting F5, but it should automatically update.
Thanks,
KS

A few BOB/clickie problems:
I have a few build games going, and to prevent BOB from crashing/burning on me when I enter them I turn auto BOB off before I enter those games. For some odd reason, though, when I turn BOB off, my clickies also disappear. Is this a glitch, or are they co-dependent now?
Also, if both BOB and clickies are enabled, then for some reason some of the clickie options are gone, for example the floating toolbar and several confirmation options.

I have this same damn problem. It takes me about 5 minutes to go from game to game because of it.

Ditto for me, though it only takes about a half a minute for the "Stop Script/Continue" box to appear and it switches to my new game immediately after I click on Stop Script. A bigger problem for me has arisen at the same time this one began, however. The table with the players' names and stats and also the Time Remaining now appear above the map and there is nothing I can find to bring them down into the big blank space on the right side of the map. With this glitch I cannot put the cursor over a player's name in the table and see his territories light up, a serious deficiency. I can bring the table down only by turning off Grease Monkey, but then I lose all the benefits of BOB, Clickable Maps, etc. I've identified this problem in several forums and PMs for about a week, but no one seems to know what to do, so far. I haven't updated my work computer and these defects do not occur there.

I have installed all the latest updates and scripts and have tried the alt f5 button several times and I still only get 'Bob Initializing" over and over. I cannot figure out what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

To speed up getting helped, anyone having an issue with BOB might want to list the following:
1) game number(s) where problem happens
2) OS version (Windows or Ubuntu, or whatever)
3) Firefox version (Help/About)
4) Greasemonkey version (Tools/Add-ons)
5) BOB version (listed to the right of 'BOB Menu' on the left of the page).
Recently, an outdated greasemonkey (#4) has caused some people to get what you are seeing. Upgrading greasemonkey solved that issue for them.

At last, a glimmer of hope! That's what I, for one, needed by way of direction in how to solve this problem. Thank you for not being passive, Impassive!

Ehm, it is a glitch, will be fixed in the next version.

Those options are both in BOB and in Clickies, I used the latest yeti_c version of CM, I guess that was already in there. Haven't coded that myself at least. And I guess you could call them co-dependend because of this.

I haven't played many of the maps, so I'm not sure if this problem shows up elsewhere, but on the new classic map, the green bars in the map inspector are very tough to see over the greenish coloration. It's possible I'll just have to deal with it (like trying to distinguish between yellow players and white neutrals on some maps!), but I thought that outlining the map inspector bars/boxes with a thin black line might help them stand out a bit better.
Many thanks!

I would suggest going to your Firefox Tools menu, selecting Add-ons, then clicking Find Updates. My system is set up to inform me that updates are available, but I think that is optional.

In Firefox,
Tools/Add-ons, click 'Extensions' at the top, then click the 'Find Updates' button at the bottom.

thanks for help but i find i already have GM 0.8.20091209.4 update and it says "no updates were found". I've been to their homepage but no clues there. Maybe I should uninstall Grease Monkey and Bob's and reload everything?

the problems that I posted earlier started working again, with initial territories in the troop deployment stage showing colors and the stats updating as stuff changed mid turn, but after I finish a turn the script freezes the page to the point where I once had to do a hard boot and the other time I had to wait 5 minutes for the task manager to close the web page.
Seeing as my computer isn't doing this with any other site and the fact that when I disabled greasemonkey it was fine I'm fairly certain this is a BoB thing.. I guess I will be going without until these bugs work themselves out.

Good to know that started working again, no idea where that came from. But the other thing is now fixed in 4.10.2, it was pretty annoying..

Snapshot are not working for me in version 4.10.2. They are taken, but not there when I enter the game again.
It is the same behavior as the problem I had with a previous version 4.9.x.

Snapshots have disappeared for me too, but different than the previous poster, mine were working fine before, now all previous snapshots are gone (unfortunately already cost me a game or two, oh well). New snapshots don't work when taken with 4.10.2, coming back into the game snapshots are blank, this occurs immediately after leaving a game where I just took a snapshot and immediately returning.
