Janitor can also be useful in a situation where somebody claims cop but their sanity is uncertian and then the mafia kill them and thier sanity is never determined.
In short the janitor isn't exactly the most powerful role the mafia can have but derfderf likes it...

it just seems weird that only the mafia would have a janitor, becuase if there are multiple kills then you know who the mafia killed.

If Its Bolt is a regular at playing mafia, why would he push such a strong case against someone, then night kill them when they don't get lynched? Isn't that suicide? It seems to me like it might be a set up to make him look guilty, which ofcourse he does. not sure what to think, starting to think I am over thinking everything. My head hurts.......

I thought of that angle as well. There are two things that can happen in this situation.

A. Aggressive person anticipates town reaction and frames himself.

B. Mafia frame someone who was aggressive.

As for the janitor thing, i think its more to cover the deceased's role, not who killed them, it's almost always going to be mafia that killed them, but sometimes you might want to cover their role maybe if they're doc or cop or something, i'm not sure what that gains the killer but it must be something

Well look at it this way. Town usually believe the mafia frame players. What better kill is there than to have suspicion thrust on another townie? Even if it's for a second. Mafia can take advantage of that.

Ok, so rereading what people have been saying....

Drench was killed by mafia for recruiting a maifa member. He was a mason, and tried to recruit a member, but was killed by the person he recruited.

Thzzzz was killed by mafia because mafia janitor made his roll unknown.

Is it possible for both to be killed by mafia in the same night? Does the mafia get 2 kills in a night? This does not make sense to me.

No, there is only one bomb in the game and animorpher has it. It also likely explodes during the day, not the night.

If Drench died by trying to recruit a mafia member (and we are not 100% sure about that) the mafia did not actually kill him. A mason cannot recruit a member of the mafia, so if he tries to recruit someone who is mafia he automatically dies.
