WTF!!!??? Chile is in South America!!!betiko wrote:I would be very surprised if australia scores a point. They are probably there just to get more or less goals by each team and determine positions in case of equal points.Agent 86 wrote:Careful there trev, this group is now in the balance..if Aus has come to play, it will get interesting on who goes through.trevor33 wrote:Chile will put the final nail in the coffin and I'll have a hell of a lot of gloating to do - no Spain in the last 16. Even if they do beat Chile they won't make it... everyone will beat Aus Chile will beat Holland last game to send Holland through as group winners and Chile second on goal difference.betiko wrote:yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
smelllsssssssss like brazil-spain next round!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And trevor, how do you see chile beat spain no questions asked??? Lol. In any case, a tie would practically eliminate spain. Not to mention that chile will most likely not beat holland.

You chose the most boring game so far to dive in.denominator wrote:I watched Chile / Australia. Two teams with very different styles so it was an interesting game. I still always struggle getting into the World Cup because of all the diving, but once you get used to it, it is what it is.
Now if the Kings would hurry up and end hockey already, I could focus on football.
It's not so much a choice as it is an aspect of timezones and work.nietzsche wrote:You chose the most boring game so far to dive in.denominator wrote:I watched Chile / Australia. In that case, he should be collecting royalties for the Stanley Cup Final as well.DoomYoshi wrote:Is Vince McMahon collecting royalties for the World Cup?
With all the embellishments leading to penalties, the blind refs and the fixed matches, I should hope so.

Chile will beat Holland if beat Aus and Spain beat Chile becasue Holland will already have won the group with the goal difference... Chile looked nervous against Aus but I expect them to play better against Spain, remember 4 years ago Spain had a better team and Chile weren't as experienced and Spain just won 2-1, had they drew that game they were out of the cup. Vital doesn't looking 100% but I'm still hopeful Chile can prove me right and get at least second spot behind Holland.betiko wrote:I would be very surprised if australia scores a point. Australia to win a game, are you nuts? A draw would be an outsanding performance. They are the weakest team of the tournament by far and they are in one of the toughest groups.oVo wrote:Chile looked pretty good, Holland looked awesome. Australia will be lucky if they can pull out a win at all. I don't know if they're too courteous or what, but the Aussie counter attack was nonexistent and with numbers would pause at midfield waiting for the Chile team to catch up.
Chile/Australia had the most Oscar performances of the day and I sure hope the flops don't become a trend for the rest of the tourney.
