Weird. Are you able to access the actual website?

The problem seems to be that the url "http://oglaf.com/media/comic/swordmaster.jpg", which you have in your post, automatically redirects to "http://oglaf.com/media/comic//fo///////////////////missing.html" when you try to open it.

I get that problem with Firefox but not with Opera. I'm not blocking any cookies directly from oglaf.com, but the problem lies with AdBlock+.

It was blocking images from www.projectwonderful.com, which supplies the oglaf.com comic images.

So, now I can view the comics on oglaf.com, but the links in natty's post only show "Image." And I'm not blocking any cookies from projectwonderful.com either, so... that's where I'm at.

Perfect ending!

Yes, a friend on Facebook pointed this out for me. I was so disappointed to see that there are only three so far, I think. (Wait, it's Tuesday, there should be a new one... YES!).

Please pardon the double post, but I just got this far. I don't run AdBlock, do run FF, and cannot see the image in natty's post. However, I copied the image location, opened a new tab, and pasted to the address bar. Still no image, but I could delete the last component of the path, ending up with http://oglaf.com/media/comic/ which gave me a directory listing page. From there I still could not follow the link, but could "Save As.." and then got a file I could see. Not sure it was worth the work, but it's good to get some exercise now and then. (I am not quite as inert as the little guy dreading swimsuit season in Haggis's latest post.

Ha, nice.

I always found it odd how people can find certain combination of meats delicious and slightly different combination of meats disgusting. I guess this can be generalized to food in general.

I'd probably have some reservations about eating whole bugs or things that are still moving, but short of that I'd try pretty much any local food.

Hmm, ok, maybe I'd struggle a bit with those eggs with a partially developed chick in them as well.

I like most meats, but I have this crazy aversion towards liver. I just can't stand the stuff.

Actually I could never stand liver either. I even hate the smell.

Anyway, let's diversify!

Some engineer out there has solved P=NP and it's locked up in an electric eggbeater calibration routine. For every 0x5f375a86 we learn about, there are thousands we never see.

Best use of "magic number" ever.

I still find it extremely mind boggling to try to figure out exactly how someone came up with that approximation method.

Ah, I remember reading about that too when I first read that xkcd strip. I still can't quite figure out how that algorithm works...

Uhhh.... I've no idea what magic y'all speak of, so I read some of the following:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_numb ... ramming%29

and I still don't get it. I blame it on aliens, and these aliens also prevent the answer from being discovered (as seen here.

Can anyone provide a layman explanation?
