I know that it's better if she knows, but no doubt she'll find out it's from me. So how do I want to fit in is the question?

BTW, I think I've found a (1) pic of an ex on 4chan, and I did not tell her. Then again, I'm ok with not getting back together with her.

Did it 404 before you saved them? Because that's the important part lol. If she's going to find out it's from, and you're really wanting her to know, then I might straight up tell her. But if she finds out you told the friend because you wanted to reduce the shock, she might appreciate that. As long as the friend doesn't tell everyone he or she knows.

There is an archive for 4chan stuff. I won't link it, for obvious reasons, but it can be easily googled. Also, there are other places that end up with pictures from 4chan.

I don't know 100% if I trust her friends. That's a tough one... but I think I trust her best friend enough.

I told our friend that she could save it, but I didn't. I changed my mind but it was 404'd. I can still obtain the pic(s) from our friend though. It's not archived either(yet?). How long would that even take? I wouldn't know what else to search. OC is hard to come by though right? So it will prolly come back... besides half of you prolly saved it yourselves already. Pervs.

I just don't know. :/

lol I usually get on briefly in the morning to see if there are any funny gifs. Then I check /b/ to see if anything interesting popped up. I'm usually out in 10 minutes. The last thread archived is from a week ago. Apparently they have to be submitted and then accepted. So maybe a week?

Too bad you missed out on the save. It will likely come back at some point, but probably not in full.

Tell the friend, for sure. Explain what 4chan is, if she doesn't know, though. I doubt she'd buy the "I just happened to find them" thing. That sucks though, if someone I cared for was going out with a /b/tard I'd be concerned for them.

Not really alarming. It was a brief surprise where I was like, "no... that's not... holy shit it is," for a moment, then I chuckled at the odds, seeing as I haven't had an enormous number of serious girlfriends (2 to be exact). I haven't found any pictures of the less serious ones, ironically. But my ex wasn't nude, and it was just one picture (so far), so I can't say you have me beat on the whore front...

And I would never ever recommend looking it up at work.... but you can, they are usually just thumbnails....

You're better off searching an imageboard specifically for that kind of thing. Chan is more like the breeze... it goes where it goes.
