I'm not sure what his motivations were. I think that they may have been mixed between a legitimate sense of duty, retribution for his family (Saddam did try to kill his father), and sadly the possibility that he or others in his cabinet could use it as an opportunity to make money. My support for the war is more ideological than anything. I would have been in favor of removing Saddam under any President, and admittedly others may have done so more efficiently had they been in office.
Why aren't you calling for the removal of Kim Jong Il, Omar Al Bashir, Sayiid Ali Khamenei, Hu Jin Tao, King Abdullah, Than Shwe, Robert Mugabe, Islam Karimov, Muammar al Qaddafi, Basshar al Assad, Isayas Aferwerki, Raul Castro, Teodoro Obiang Nguema, Aleksandr Lukashenka, Meles Zenawi, Idriss Deby, King Mswati III, Hosni Mubarak, Paul Biya and 50 other dictators around the world?
America, stand up for what is right! You attacked Iraq for purely humanitarian reasons, you have set out your stall. Now you must follow this up.... INVADE NOW!

Nobody anywhere is saying the US attacked Iraq for purely humanitarian reasons. While I agree with you in principle, your arguments lose water when you act intentionally ignorant. Do try again.

George W. Bush was born outside the US... he was born in Texas. Doesn't everyone realize it IS a country unto itself?
