Well over 99.999% of people are nice. But, we worry excessively about those few who are not.

Sadly, people now are so hypersensitive they make accusations or just plain don't let anyone they don't know well around their kids.

Did you see that whole debate over the mom who let her kid ride the subway alone? Personally, I think the over-reacting, is causing more problems than the predators.


I never heard the subway story, but I do agree our society is taking things way too far. I mean come on parents- you're really out to lunch if you think your kid is going to get molested in a tutoring session.

Accusations can ruin someone's reputation even if they are not true, but then the slandered person could press charges for slander I would think.

Most kids who are molested are molested by relatives or friends of the family - someone the parents trust.

Hey wrestler1ump, have you considered modeling at all? I know you said you are a wrestler, so you're probably in really good shape.

That wouldn't be that much work and you could get orange mocha frappuccinos on your breaks.

I dunno if I've got the personality for modelling. I could probably steal the orange mocha frappuccinos when someone else is in the contest.
