It's really pissing me off. Damn it, do you guys just hate us or something? It genuinely seems that way. You make a post not involving locking or banning every fortnight, just leave us alone. Seriously, I don't understand why you won't just go away. Nobody cares if I talk about eating dead babies, so clearly it's virtually impossible to offend people here. Flames almost never get out of control, and I'm pretty sure clapper can handle that without backup. So what's the motivation? Why continue to f*ck with us? For lulz? Power trip? What? What the hell do you want? Stop ruining our forum!

ok....wait, are you saying that I ask for help and backup ? or that they should stay out and leave it to me? I am confused...... :?

He's saying that you can handle things without the need of backup but that others supply it to you anyway. So I guess the second option.

I think he's saying stay out until we start requesting your help for situations that are out of our control.

Don't put words in my mouth. You asked what Frigidus meant, I gave my interpretation of it.

So, Clapper can't put words in your mouth while you put words in Frigidus's's?

Sorry. Oh, and I think nag makes more sense.

I didn't put words in his mouth, I simply gave an explanation of something that is not immediately obvious, as did several other people. Giving an explanation is hardly putting words in somebodies mouth, nor is it expressing my opinions on a matter.

If DM's explanation of why he was banned is true, then this is absolutely ridiculous. I'm just having such a hard time believing that he actually got banned for something as stupid as that.

Yo.

So I just got forum banned. Again.

This time it was for posting a user's phone number, which he personally asked me to post so that people could contact him. Then removing it a couple of hours later when I decided that he was probably making a bad deciscion. Apparently my crime was so bad that it took a moderator five days to notice before banning me.

Apparently doing what other user's would like you to do, then trying to save them from their own stupidity is worthy of a ban now. It makes perfect sense, right?

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you'd let the Bandits (and the rest of the forum, if you don't mind) know that I'll be gone for a long time.

All the best,
DM

December 2, 2008

Dear friend of Liberty,

This past presidential season I saw a renewed enthusiasm from our country’s youth.

An excitement for liberty gripped the college campuses unlike I have ever seen before. Young people were energized for real change.

Still to my amazement, our college rallies attracted thousands of young people. Students were hungry for the message of freedom, peace, and prosperity.

For this reason, a youth-based movement for liberty is essential to our cause. It is these young men and women who will become tomorrow’s champions of liberty.

That's why I am giving my enthusiastic endorsement to Young Americans for Liberty (YAL); an organization that is built directly on the success of Students for Ron Paul.

My National Youth Coordinator, Jeff Frazee, is launching this organization with an ambitious goal of starting over 100 campus chapters in 2009. They have already started 47 chapters this semester.

Jeff worked with me exclusively to start the Campaign for Liberty (C4L) and host the Rally for the Republic in Minneapolis. Now, he is leaving to follow his real passion and lead Young Americans for Liberty.

The Campaign for Liberty has supplied $25,000 in seed money to help start YAL. I hope you will join in support as well.

Young Americans for Liberty is the continuation of Students for Ron Paul.

Students for Ron Paul established over 500 college chapters in all 50 states. Over 26,000 students joined our campaign. With this network and my support, Young Americans for Liberty is essential to building a genuine liberty movement in America.

You and I must remain serious about our ideas and goals. I am. I believe you are too.

Back in the 1960s, an influential youth movement formed around another anti-establishment presidential candidate. His name was Barry Goldwater. The organization was called Young Americans for Freedom; and without it, we may have never seen Ronald Reagan in the White House.

I have high hopes for Young Americans for Liberty, and wish them a similar fortune.

Please visit the Young Americans for Liberty website, sign up for their weekly E-Newsletter, and read about their plans for next semester.

Their website is at http://www.YALiberty.org

The importance of YAL to the future of liberty cannot be overstated.

Young people have the passion, energy, and dedication that many of you can relate to from this past year and a half. But, young people do not have very much money. It is up to you and me to give them our support.

So please go to Young Americans for Liberty's website http://www.YALiberty.org , sign up for their free E-Newsletter, and read about the future of our youth.

In liberty,

P.S. – Join me today to continue the Revolution on campus. Please visit the Young Americans for Liberty website http://www.YALiberty.org to read about their mission and join their effort.

And I already sang the Free Mustard song a long time ago before he was ever banned. I am guessing that Jiminski must be some type of prophet or something. Strange fellow, that Jiminski...talks to spiders and such.

Dancing Mustard was forum banned for 1 month for posting someone's phone number, which is considered a personal information. It was reported but I was busy with other personal stuff at the time. When it was finally reviewed I had to relay it first to a higher power before any action was to be taken.

Now, did Semigall really gave permission to have his number posted or was it really intended for DM only? Would you do everything that somebody says even if it will risk your privilege or go against the rules? Or are you just saying that he told you to that but he really didn't. Regardless, posting of someone's personal information should have come from the person himself as Semigall does not have any sanctions imposed on him.

People have been permanently banned for similar actions and DM should have known better. Taking into consideration that he has already received numerous bans and warnings due to his postings in different parts of the forum in the past and this 1 month vacation is due for this.

Posting personal information isn't against the rules, chief.

Twill wrote:Using personal information, including names, addresses, pictures, blogs or anything else identifiable in a flame, is considered trolling and that makes it one of the few no nos of the forum guidelines.

Only if it was in a flame does it violate this. Give me my Mustard back.

As F1fth says, posting personal information is only bad if it is a flame. At least, according to the rules and I know you guys really do not seem to give the slightest f*ck about the rules unless it is good for you, but still. You banned us for abusing the "multiple accounts" rule even when what we did was nowhere disallowed in the rules and the ones who previously did what we did got a mere block.

Talking about "a personal information" really doesn't work because you still seem to have trouble with actually telling people when you consider it out of line.
Now, did Semigall really gave permission to have his number posted or was it really intended for DM only? I would certainly post something in the forums if someone asked me to. Maybe they just don't want to bother with discussing it or are too busy and don't have time to post it. My thread doing the same thing got locked, even though ditocoaf was far too busy at the time.

Semigall specifically said that he didn't want to bother with discussing this online but that he welcomed anyone willing to give him a call about it. Some people like to express their views but don't want to bother with online discussion or don't have the time. Why stop them from doing so?

People have been permanently banned for similar actions and DM should have known better. Taking into consideration that he has already received numerous bans and warnings due to his postings in different parts of the forum in the past and this 1 month vacation is due for this.

Okay, show me the people who have been permanently banned for posting a message from someone else who couldn't or wouldn't post here and gave their permission. I know you didn't ban owenshooter for posting a pm Dancing Mustard sent him to explain why he had gone!

I know you mods would like to get rid of DM, our previous "FUCKING BUST" showed that quite clearly. You don't however seem to have a good reason for it so you just make something up and apply it. That's just bad moderating and shouldn't be in such a fine community as Twill repeatedly says.

That's a sticky in Flame Wars, which doesn't apply here anyway. The guidelines and any stickies in this forum have absolutely no mention of anything about personal information.

So semigall can't ask someone to post his personal information? Wow, this has to be the most retarded thing i've ever heard. So I guess there has been an unwritten rule this whole time stating:

"no one can post someone elses info even if they have permission"

Now I still don't know what sort of harm this could cause, but if the mods say so IT MUST BE TRUE.

I ask any mod answer this.

What problem would occur if someone said to post their number on here and I did? Keep in mind they did give me permission.
