maybe a dead person bought it, and didn't get to wear it? Maybe I'm just to excited, and jumpy.

Friends from the watch group,
most of us have met each other for many years, and others *nods to the newlyweds* arrived recently, but got well integrated to our little community; in this dangerous times that have arrived, i think stay united, and protect our neighborhood is of utmost importance; that's why even if i dont want to throw the first stone i think we must keep our eyes wide open, and be weary of those who have shown less care for our community; this is why i FOS cmc and skoffin, i think they might have something to do with the lamentable death of Dito, our former leader, i could like to hear your thoughts about this important matter that reunite us.

It's been three hours since the game started; anyone who hasn't posted by the time I go to bed tonight (late, as I live on the west coast of the U.S.) will be prodded.
EDIT: actually, I'll prod people when it's been a day.

Although the new coat may not necessarily mean anything, it is out of the ordinary, which is suspicious. Your quick dismissal of the evidence is also worrysome. FOS CMC and Inkl0sed

I'm actually more suspicious of animo. Saying that you are CONVINCED someone is scum because of a new coat is a bit over the top.

Not everyone lives in the same time zone, I would only consider someone inactive if they haven't posted in over 24hrs.

6. There was pmchugh, a man who was usually seen playing with and training his pet dog in his yard.
10. There was William18, a businessman who commuted to the neighboring city daily.
7. There was DRoZ, an elderly lady who had lived in the neighborhood for twenty years.
13. Macalaster was a famous ex-president who retired in this obscure neighborhood to avoid attention.
8. FloresDeMal worked every day as the barista at the coffee shop.
9 & 12 Everyone had heard the gossip of Mr. incrediball and Inkl0sed, a newlywed couple who, previously strangers, had fallen in love in a whirlwind romance on a cruise.
5. cmckinney was a tall man who rarely attended the meetings, and had an overgrown, unkempt lawn.
2. Militant was a local musician, who played at bars and coffee shops downtown.
3. sam_levi_11 was just a teenager; his parents were on a month-long trip, and he was home alone for the duration.
11. animorpherv1 had won the lottery, and retired early to this area for a quiet life with his books.
4. And of course there was borox0, who had become a semi-famous holy man, who walked daily to the city to help the needy.
1. Skoffin had recently moved to this country from a foreign land, but speaks the language tolerably well.
14. And then there was LSU Tiger Josh, a police officer in the city--everyone looked at him one by one, hoping that he would have the solution already. All he could promise is that he would take a leave from his duties, to stay behind and help protect the neighborhood while they all sorted out these problems.
Ok everyone is accounted for as I posted their living page number next to their "job". Animo what makes you think "from a dead guy" with the new coat bit? While I do agree CMK's character description is quite shady, I just don't follow the logic of him being scum because of a new coat. I'll pass on voting for now.

I see where you all are coming from, and I notice now that I was just jumpy on it. Maybe we should all observe 1 person, so that we have a better chance of geeting something important. Also, lover's normally have 1 mafia and 1 town, so we might have to decide which is which, or if that even is at all.

All watching the same person is a good idea if people have unlimited amount of "observations". However, I'm sure that not everyone has that option of "observations" and even if someone is observed that we should take some of the observations with a grain of salt as the observations won't come straight out and tell us if someone is scum or not.
Lovers generally are 1 scum and 1 good, but not always. You can't always depend on killing one of each in a game. I've been in a few games where boht lovers were town and it did hurt the town's ability to win when that happened.

Here are two parts of the first post that I want to make sure people don't miss. I appreciate that you've all been good with the other strange things about this mafia, but I feel that these two things, since they're not immediately important, might get overlooked.
Ditocoaf wrote:2) I like dynamic roles. Many roles will change under certain circumstances, though not all. Also, don't expect things to follow typical mafia rules, and lingo. Someone who's character is a doctor, might have a role that doesn't involve protecting. Knowledge of normal mafia roles will not help you in this game. Focusing on normal mafia roles will actually slow you down.
11. Role play. Example: If your character is too good-natured to vote someone, you cannot post, "I have a restriction so I cannot vote." Say that you're too good-natured to vote anyone. Make it obvious that you're just playing your role, but don't say it out loud. This rule mostly applies in the realm of restrictions you may have, although if you're up for discussing the entire game without referring to OOC concepts, you'll make me very happy. You need to pretend there are no rules; only life and it's limitations.
