The stereotype of philosophy majors is basically that they're useless, lol. Maybe it's not true, but that's just the preconception I have. Most of my philosophical arguments involve science and history anyways, so I figure it would just be best to study one of those if I wanted to improve my philosophy skills...

I'm not sure about making a career out of the military. I certainly haven't ruled it out, but I can't imagine having a family while serving active duty, and at this point I'm pretty certain I'd like to have a family. I'm just seeing how it goes at this point.
And yeah, my top choice right now is Marine infantry.

Good news. I'm in the hardest classes at school, but get mediocre grades. Sports is tough on time management... Anywho, that said I guess I might go into Physics or engineering. A minor in military history for fun would probably be the best option after that.

Which is definitely good news, and one of the main reasons I'm not going to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. They make you choose your major as a high school senior and you can't transfer!

Money isn't my main goal, it's not really a goal at all tbh. So far as finance goes, I just want to do something that I think is useful and make enough money to save up to raise a stable family in the future. A big house is pretty far down on my list of wants...
