They make terminator games unplayable IMO. Either they don't like the layout or have a bad start then deadbeat and it costs them nothing.
Give everyone still alive when they are eliminated full points for taking them out and teach the tosspots a lesson.

I think the deadbeat points should go to the last person standing. It's easier to code. The alternative - giving some points to everyone - rewards people for just being there.
There is definetly such a major flaw in terminator games that they are easy to cheat. In the one i just played, red took out one player, gained 23 points then deadbeat knowing he was doomed. So when i finally took out the remaining player I gained less points than red managed. Had red remained, i would have taken him out and gained more points, and it looks like red knew this full well and so deadbeated on purpose.
Deadbeating is therefore a tactic in terminator games to allow people to gain points by being idiots.
I assume leaving negative feedback on a player for this tactic is perfectly reasonable?
Hopefully, this an easy way to fix the deadbeat problem in terminator -
After 3 missed turns in a row, the player is declared a deadbeat and cannot take any turns, whenever their turn comes they are skipped and get 0 armies.
Instead of the deadbeat's territory going neutral, it stays the same color, and the whoever eliminates the deadbeat's color gets the deadbeat's points, same as eliminating an active player.
someone could make general - and then just enter 1 terminator per month to keep their score live - deadbeating after playing the first round.
every time theres a loophole - someone will find it and exploit it
it's time to impliment the idea mentioned above - miss three goes and you can't take anymore goes in the game - but you don't go white - you remain coloured and get killed for your points.

I like this solution better than the deadbeat points going to last-man-standing. You'll see it implemented in the Xmas Update.
Hiya,
I was recently in a game that ended a little while ago because both players deadbeated after a few turns. I did not win any points for winning; however, and more importantly they did not lose points for losing.
If this is how it is meant to occur, then this should be changed, as it would then make deadbeating an option for those unwilling to lose points but who cannot win.
The game is number 206475.
Eh, I didn't mind, I was going to lose anyway as I was having bad luck. Even playing alone it took me three turns to take Central America, and it only had 1 unit on it.
So, if about to lose in a terminator game, just deadbeat and you won't lose points?

that would solve it
level of importance: 9 / 10
if that's the case people could abuse it to gain points (which is worse than mainaining points esp when the maintaining come at the cost of being able to play a real game) if someone makes multiple accounts to play against each other and deadbeats all but their main one. If someone is going to exploit a loophole at the cost of being able to play, I don't see why you should expect them to care about rules such as no multiple accounts
What if deadbeats lose points but don't give them??? (the lost points go to noone)
I was in a three player sequential terminator game. One player deadbeated and was kicked out of the game. So I focused on the one remaining player. I eleminated them my next turn and thought I would then be able to attack the deadbeat's armies. Well the game was over. The deadbeat didn't end up losing any points. How is this possible? Why wasn't I able to start attacking and killing of the deadbeats armies? If I can't, why didn't I get the points that they should have lost?
