It is completely up to every individual to choose the way of life they want.

The person's choice will no doubtably fall into 1 of these 3 groups.

If anyone can find legitimate fault with this claim, please let me know.

People who believe in other gods or people who simply have not been taught the word of God.

That would also be Group 3.

the three groupings are probably true-but not a very interesting point.

Actually its just untrue and boring. It just floats around there like an unsatisfying turd. Let this thread die.

The part about putting people into 2 groups is right.

A person could say the 2 groups are believers and non-believers but I figured I would use my brain a little more than that.

thats essentially believing in a god or a number of gods so fits into the groupings (eg Mother Nature = a god)

I fail to see a point to this. This is as arbitrary as saying:

Everybody can fall into 1 of 4 groups:

Group 1: Those who love Raymond.

Group 2: Those who hate Raymond

Group 3: Those who don't care about Raymond

Group 4: Those who don't know about Raymond.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything. Just asking that you clarify what you mean by posting this, because I sense that there is a reason.

If you hadn't noticed, this topic came up in another thread and I felt like clearifying the 2 points.

Why would this matter anyway? You could divide people into as many groups as you want, but it doesn't change the fact that in the end we all fall into one group.

Gregrios likes clear boundaries, and never mind if they fit or not.

There, that's three big fat holes blasted through your logic already... I win.

Why don't you take a minute and read what you just wrote. It's just a little too hypicritical.

That was a good one. So far you've made the most sense. But I'm only on the first page.

I wasn't trying to be interesting, only trying to make a point that everything we do is our own choice. Whatever the result might be.

how is grouping everyone into 3 groups proving a point that everything we do is our own choice?

But how does an arbitrary grouping show that everything we do is a choice? Couldn't you show that with a good deal of groupings?

Edit: Fast posted #-o

There are three types of people.

Those who like me

Those who hate me

Those who do not care/know that I exist

I pity the ones in the last group. See? :(

It depends on the sceniro. That could really go 2 ways. Group 2 or 3.

1st scenirio: a believing person that chooses not to listen can't like God too much. And what's the opposite of like? It's dislike or as I said "hate". Group 2.

2nd scenirio: a believing person who simply don't know what the word of God is. This would be the group I've spent most of my life in. They believe but don't understand it. Group 3.

It was a good question. Next time though, just think about it a little longer before finding fault with it. That's all I ask.

I did jump the gun with my 1st answer but hopefully I've answered your question. Your scenirio fits 2 of the groups previously mentioned.
