Setup
2 Mafia Goon with altered Role Modifications for balance (the intro could give away some hints or clues on the matter like the "You need to control. Because you know the game surprises you" quote)
1 possible Mafia Traitor
8 Town
1 3P

with Mod promise that only Cop, Doctor, Vigilante, Jailkeeper, Firefighter, Roleblocker and some hidden scum powers are in the game (again, all with altered Soft Role Modifications for balance, the 3P not included)

The Mafia is composed of "Mad Vincent Vega Vengeful" and Don Giovanni “Big Tuna” Gambino!

Mechanics
Day start
Role Modifications
According to mafia game roles , the Traitor is an assigned role. Would it be safe to assume that this game Mafia can choose any of us to be a potential Traitor?
The way I read it is that there may or may not be a traitor, nothing else...

I've always known Arsonist to be a "lost wolf" - a wolf who doesnt know who his teammates are, while his teammates know who the arsonist is.

This post by Ragian seems like a signal to the arsonist.

@EW, are you saying that you've played games with an arsonist (or whatever type of 3p serial killer) that was in cahoots with others? I haven't.

With the Firefighter as one of the possible roles, this makes sense to me actually

Mafiagg's version, Pyromaniac, is mafia-aligned but is not part of the mafia night meeting. So, not 3p but mafia in fact.

I looked up mafiascum and there it is only town-aligned or 3p though... so you got a point. Really thought I found something good first post.

With respect to a possible mafia sided player not known to mafia there are possible hints flying around that may or may not mean anything;

EW initially pounced upon Rags burning to get started but didn't pounce upon my Canon ready to fire confirmation.
It could be he deliberately didn't pounce on me as town EW to lure a Mafia LC to be quiet.
The only take I have on EWs pounce though is if either EW or Rag flip mafia it would (very) marginally increase the probability of the other flipping mafia (because an EW going a bit mafia on mafia early on, getting corrected by a fellow, then quickly backtracking/correcting is a bit of a mafia play I wouldn't put past a mafia EW)

Kongs simple fishmonger response to Maxs vote out of nothing, and again my are you selling red herrings response could both be interpretted as possible hints.
Kong may or may not have been hinting that he was servicing the big tuna Gambino, but it could have been a dummy hint or nothing.
My response could be interrpretted as either message received Kong, or prove it Kong, or as it was nothing at the time but now might look coded.

I think a mafia sided player not known to mafia could be tempted to hint - depending on who it was - but if, when and how is a complexity.
I will be looking out for hints, I think we should all be looking out for them and calling them out if we see possible hints, but I expect most players to go predominantly based on evidence from night actions given what looks like the set up of this game.

Loose is mistaking it with EW's post. For someone who claims pays attention to detail that's quite an interesting mishap LC given it shapes your reasoning for your vote

Ok so this at least to me looks like the usual D1's with just no information available.
I thought the flavor was just flavor until Sonic said something about that the intro "could give away some hints", but I do agree with Ragian, that its to early to try to analyze what al of that means, or ofc we can speculate, but like always I feel like we need more info.

I also tried to look up what kind of 3P roles it was on mafiawiki, and found 12 different ones, but few of those we could probably just cross out straight away, I'm thinking about roles like "light fairy", "antisocial","mentor".

In a setup like this I would guess the most likely 3P is arsonist (because of Sonics hints), but maybe its a SK or a jester?
Like when I look at the different roles, most of them does not seem very likely to be our 3P in this games.

Exactly, that is what I meant with my post earlier in response to EW, when nRagia decided to vote for me :) With Sonic's post to start the game he gave us a "Mod Promise" that there is a Firefighter, that means there must be an Arsonist as well.

Why is it that people insist on there being nothing to say? Surely, then, you'd vote no lynch to get to night. Or is it just that you don't want to say anything and let others carry the load?
