Detroit is currently #1 in the NFC.
The North is insane though, three 5 win teams?? Wild.

Pretty fucking wild... vikings/lions was an excellent game, houston/gb was great, KC/SF sucked because Mahomes is a bitch but otherwise entertaining day of football

I couldn't watch it anymore after the 2nd inct. It was a kick in the dick. It was pretty much a defense game

Not sure who else watched, but a miracle happened. With a hail mary that got deflected in the end zone, the Commanders win by a hairs thread. Holy shit, what a game.

Apparently Jaden Daniels is the future... I was watching on 'Redzone' and it ended like 1 min before the hail mary, so I switched over to SiriusXM radio and listened to the home team call and the announcers just lost it and forgot they were on the radio i think. You could hear them running around and high five=\-ing and hugging each other in pure elation. I watched it a few minutes later on twitter. They should have been up like 28-0 in the first half, so I'm really happy they didn't lost it because Caleb managed a couple drives after stinking the place for 3 quarters of the game.

Yes, an exciting Ending to the game. The odds of such a play working for the Offense is rather small.

I watched. I was cheering for Washington because Bears fans are some of the most delusional fans on earth. Thrilled they pulled it off.

And it’s perfect that the player who was too busy yelling at FANS in the crowd to pay attention and play football is the one who deflected the ball into the end zone for the score.

Another Sunday, another big Lions win.
As a lifelong fan, this is CRAZY. It’s hard to believe this season is real. I hope they’re able to pull off a trade for some EDGE help. Otherwise just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.

If 9ers don't make it, this is my next go to team. I'm bandwagoning here, but super fun to watch the Lions just dominate.

LOL.

I have no shame in admitting I'm rooting for the Lions. Even after 5 interceptions, they still win. I turned it off after half time thinking the game was over. Lol.

Here's a question, think you're a 9er fan. Cut Moody? 3 missed field goals is pretty bad. Happy he closed the game out, but Jesus, it shouldn't have been that close. And he has a habit of not clutching it. *cough*superbowl*cough* I also think our special teams in general is just abysmal. Keep Pearsall on the field though. If i see Ronnie Bell bat down another pass, I'll have a blood aneurism.

So I think we have to sign a new kicker, then we have to have Moody go shopping in SF, but a fancy watch of something and hopefully he gets shot and comes back better than anyone expected in a month....worked great w/Pearsall!!! If you had told me in August that SF's best offensive players by Nov would be Juan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall I would have laughed in your face but that seems to be how things are playing out. Kittle is also great, I don't mean to disrespect him, especially with blocking but I think Deebo is showing years of injuries are taking a toll on what set him apart, and SF should have never caved on Aiyuk's contract. He's a mid receiver and now we are stuck with him because no one is going to want to take that contract in a trade.

I'm totally on board bandwagoning on the lions though! My pops is a vikings fan, and I'm starting to believe but it's hard because they always choke and Darnold is probably short term overperforming his long term potential.

In other American Football news (non-NFL*):

UGA lost, now 2x this season, as has Alabama.

Oregon, Army, BYU, and Indiana are currently undefeated (FBS, NCAA, college American Football).

Indiana plays Ohio State this weekend; that should be a great game.

The SEC teams keep beating each other. And the same of most of the BIg 12, except BYU, and now the ACC (Miami lost this past weekend).

I basically find NFL "vanilla" and rather boring. College football has so many more types and variety: teams, locations, mascots, traditions, crazy fans, and bands. The Transfer Portal and NIL has made things even more CRAZY, as has the collapse of the PAC-12 Conference. I really enjoy the diversity. I can watch 4 games at once nearly all day Saturday; sometimes it is TOO much.

*There used to be a distinction between "Pro" NFL players and college; now with NIL, the line of separation is more blurred and payments are now more public and transparent. I do not like that, nor the Transfer Portal as it now exists.

Vikings wise, i think Darnold is turning into a potato. I think for him was more of question of when this year.

GB, I'm really not afraid of Jordan Love.

Lions, when we play them, our defense is struggling with pass rush and I can't begin to believe how they would handle some of the trick plays. I think of all the games we might lose after the bye, it's this one.

To our 9ers, we desperately need some special teams experts. Moody just ain't it. Maybe our back ups? Hard to say. I think i need to see more play time to be convinced.
I think Deebo still can play but def injury prone.
Kittle, 0 problem, especially after that catch he made. Kittle is just Kittle, best you can ask for.
Aiyuk, never been impressed by the guy other than last year, that wasn't something I'd toss more money at and waited for another dynamic reciever or waited for another season to see how he played out (he really didn't do shit).
Controversial opinion - I want to see more of Ricky until I'm sold. I think TB wasn't a game we should have worried about, but given the season so far, anything can happen (three misses fgs. f*ck off). I'll be sold on him if he plays against GB, Cards and the play offs if we make it. Maybe the Rams but now they're beat up.
I'm all board of getting rid of Moody and most of our special teams. It's just costing us games.

Our defense needs work too. Penalties is also a really big one I'm super irritated about. I could be the guy that says "Fucking Refs!" But you watch some of the replays and just can't help but say "Makes sense"

So crutch wise if TL;DR
1. Special Teams
2. Penalties
3. Injury prone

At best, he takes pressure off the line and key players, at worst, we find out there's alot more problems than we thought

I'll stay loyal to Pittsburgh, TYVM.

Although, of course, this areas is nuts for the Bills. I have to stay sub rosa....:)

The Detroit Kicker goes from being a salesman in construction materials last year, to winning clutch football games this year.
Great story and completely humble

Can't believe the 49ers lost that game. The amazing amount of penalties and just all around goof ball play calling astounded me. I was especially afraid on the 4thQ because Kyle just has the serious habit of not being able to manage the clock. At all.

The plus side was watching the chiefs lose to the bills. Rocky start but the chiefs were winning games by the hair of their ass, was gonna happen sooner or later.
