No, the biggest problem in the 50s was the fear pumped into kids that the Ruskies were gonna kill us all with nukes. Remember "Duck and Cover?"
Kids can bring guns to school because their parents aren't paying attention. It's really hard to walk around with a shotgun down a pant leg, and if you can't tell then you are totally stupid.
Teen pregnancy has actually dropped in the past 5 years, and it wouldn't be as much of an issue if sex education courses were more than "Ignore your urges. Just ignore them. Don't prepare if something should go awry or if you should actually have sex. Just don't have sex." Yeah, kids won't have sex if you tell them not to. Sure.
Oh, and another statistic you may be unaware of: the majority of teen pregnancies involve a older man over the age of 25. Kids aren't the sole problem.
Violent crime among kids has fallen by 12% while violent crimes among white males over 30 has increased by 200%. And we youthful are the problem. Screw you. When was the last time you met a serial killer who was under 18?

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."
--Ann Coulter
They apparently find her amusing, although Ann Coulter is not funny and all these people have shitty senses of humor.

The "converting them" was prabably sarcasm do to the "convert to Islam or die" mentality of the terrorists. She was just reversing the roles here.

Christianity does not convert through aggresive means. When is the last time you saw a christian "blow themselves up" for Jesus? Or cut off the head of an atheist? Most conservatives do not wish to convert others to christianity. Some may wish to convert others to democracy or even capitalism but religion does not play a part.

There are a couple christians i wouldnt mind blowing themselves up for Jesus(Pat Robertson). See the Muslims have a way to get rid of their wackos. Sorry for the not so serious response but your post made me laugh... It was actually a pretty good point too.

I do seem to remember some christians blowing up and targeting abortion clinics...and one high profile christian calling for the assassination of another country's leader...but, hey, what do I know?

There are wack-jobs in every facet of life. Hitler claimed to be a christian. To claim something does not nessisarily make it so. And I believe Pat Robertson appoligized for that statement. But regardless, If lets say Bush was torturing his people and gruesomely murdering them.... I might call for his assasination.

Come on jay, you can't be that ignorant of history. The history of the Roman Catholic Church is far bloodier than that of Islam - never heard of the inquisitions? The crusades? The protestants too had their go at it when they were in the majority - John Calvin was referred to as "The Pope of Geneva", and burned a Catholic doctor at the stake. How about America's justification for killing the Indians (pagan savages - if they won't convert, kill them)? The Salem witch hunts? Try starting a small home church in your city and see how the big churches respond - no they can't get aggressive with you, but if the law permitted . . .
