Moderator: Tournament Directors

Yeah, sorry for the dig. I'm old and too impatient...groovysmurf wrote:Thanks Tobikera, Cayman has been busy at work, but was planning to post an update tomorrow.

Most should only have 2 or 3 games left.Tobikera wrote:Because our Tournament Directors seem missing in action for giving a standings update, despite the slot for it on the first page, Here are the standings through the first 38 games played (current as of 3:51 CST US; apologies for errors, if any).

Initially I planned to do standing updates weekly but then the recent issues around suiciding and whatnot happened. That made me reconsider for multiple tournaments and I think it is best not to freely give the standings, therefore, causing a bit more effort to suicide/target, which is of course against the rules. Perhaps I should revise that decision and look to do regularly updated standings for future gold tournaments.Hooch wrote:Most should only have 2 or 3 games left.Tobikera wrote:Because our Tournament Directors seem missing in action for giving a standings update, despite the slot for it on the first page, Here are the standings through the first 38 games played (current as of 3:51 CST US; apologies for errors, if any).

I had found it odd that there was no update, it adds to the excitement.

Being curfewed from 7PM to 5AM during the week and quarantined on weekends down here in Panama makes you a bit self-centered (and nuts). I regret my lack of appreciation for the travails of others during this chaotic period. Also, didn't know about the suiciding....something I would never do so it was beyond my imaginings...![]()
Well, I won my last two games, so I guess it's a three-way tie. I love assassin games, but a three person game of such type is not fun, 4-7 player games are better. So, I look forward to the 3 poly games, and wish all well.
Cheers, Tobikera
In the event of a tie, tied players will play a Poly 3 game with the same map and settings as the tournament to determine the winner. Tiebreaker games will not count towards the July Monthly Challenge scoreboard as they will not be played in July.
There is no such thing as a 3 player ploy game...Hooch wrote:Bravo.Tobikera wrote:OK, apologies once again for my impatience. Yeah, fun or otherwise, see how it shakes down.
It isn't assassin, it is 3 player 3 team poly.

If there are 3 player team trip games then why not?Caymanmew wrote:There is no such thing as a 3 player ploy game...Hooch wrote:Bravo.Tobikera wrote:OK, apologies once again for my impatience. I'll tally the standings tonight and assuming it is correct and we have a three way tie we will do the following.
Hooch, YouOnKazoo, and Tobikera will each play two poly 3 games.
Games will be...
Tobikera vs Hooch
Tobikera vs YouOnKazoo
YouOnKazoo vs Hooch
Whoever wins both their games wins. If no one wins both games we will repeat until someone does.
