I'm scratching my head on this one!
Also, on the Tournament Schedule page (https://www.conquerclub.com/public.php? ... vent_id=95) there is no way to join the games listed. lol
Argh!
Since the End time was 9am it then hidden, you can always find Event Stuff here:shoop76 wrote:where´s the banner for the scoreboard?
What is the basic strategy of the map?HitRed wrote:I wanted to create a map that everyone could relate to. Calculators are part of our lives at home, work and school. The layout and colorful keys seemed a perfect fit for a map. Then, I just needed to find a goal that was interesting enough. One set of numbers stood out above all, Pi.
How did you find your way through the process?HitRed wrote:The basic strategy of Pi-School is to capture Pi "3.14159265" in the calculator display. The display can be attacked by 17 different buttons...and a total of 58 different ways! That's a lot of attack options. If one way is blocked simply try another.
HitRed wrote:The process of making a map is one of learning. The Map Foundry is a resource library. All the information I needed was contained in the section Tools and Guides. From there I studied previous maps and more importantly map threads. I even looked at the maps that failed to launch to learn what to avoid. The foundry currently has just a few members but they are insightful and highly skilled. Also, the community at large occasionally added their thoughts and ideas. All this helped polish Pi-School and make it the map you see today. From original post to live Beta took 21 months. This time was important as we were trying to blend: creativity, game-play, graphics and XML.
I hope everyone enjoys CC's latest map, Pi-School!

Once events reach their stop time, they vanish from the Central Command page, but they can always be accessed from the Community Tab at the top of the page.shoop76 wrote:where´s the banner for the scoreboard?
Thanks Mad. Is this event now finished? I know you didn´t organize this event, but a lot things seem unclear and it looks like certain things were not thought out.Mad777 wrote:Since the End time was 9am it then hidden, you can always find Event Stuff here:shoop76 wrote:where´s the banner for the scoreboard?

The event at 0900 CC time. I mentioned yesterday in this thread that it was too short but no one bothered to reply. The main tournament also has 12 players starting round 3 playing 2 player games with 4 people advancing, but also got no reply to that.Fyrdraca wrote:Where can we find games that will give pi tokens? I found the empty tourneys but I don’t imagine they get filled since they all have 0 players joined.

Yeah they had the wrong map and didn’t bother to say that they fixed it, someone else had to. The question now is can that even be filled? 9/12, and the event is over so my assumption would be that they stopped handing out pi coins. So...will it even start?shoop76 wrote:https://www.conquerclub.com/player.php? ... nt_id=7545
Actually they have totally changed it with no mention of anything.

Will try for a resolution here.IcePack wrote:Yeah they had the wrong map and didn’t bother to say that they fixed it, someone else had to. It was 24 players. I don't think most people realized that tokens only deopped for 26 hours.IcePack wrote:Yeah they had the wrong map and didn’t bother to say that they fixed it, someone else had to. Yeah, it was scheduled as a one-day event.shoop76 wrote:It was 24 players. That's a good idea though games on this map can take long to finish.Dukasaur wrote:Yeah, it was scheduled as a one-day event.shoop76 wrote:It was 24 players. I've asked BW to keep dropping tokens for completed games on the Pi-School map. He doesn't always agree with me, but we'll see. My proposal is there should be no more random drops, but completed games on the map should drop additional tokens.

Well he went with the more common expedient of lowering the number of entrants. Oh well.shoop76 wrote:That's a good idea though games on this map can take long to finish.Dukasaur wrote:Yeah, it was scheduled as a one-day event.shoop76 wrote:It was 24 players. That's exactly why the the number of people reviewing it was limited in so many ways.DBandit70 wrote:I really like the map I do not see anything that would have to be changed.
