You could be right Duk, "He has to bomb something to show what a big alpha male he is, but after the dust settles Assad and Putin will go back to business as usual"
I sure hope so.
Thank you, sir.
Syria is not worthy a lot for US and Russians need only its coastline. There will be no WW3 because of Syria any time soon.

Isaiah 17
A prophecy against Damascus:
“See, Damascus will no longer be a city
but will become a heap of ruins.
The cities of Aroer will be deserted
and left to flocks, which will lie down,
with no one to make them afraid.
The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
and royal power from Damascus;
the remnant of Aram will be
like the glory of the Israelites,”
declares the Lord Almighty.
“In that day the glory of Jacob will fade;
the fat of his body will waste away.
It will be as when reapers harvest the standing grain,
gathering the grain in their arms—
as when someone gleans heads of grain
in the Valley of Rephaim.
Yet some gleanings will remain,
as when an olive tree is beaten,
leaving two or three olives on the topmost branches,
four or five on the fruitful boughs,”
declares the Lord, the God of Israel.
In that day people will look to their Maker
and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.
They will not look to the altars,
the work of their hands,
and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles
and the incense altars their fingers have made.
In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation.
You have forgotten God your Savior;
you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress.
Therefore, though you set out the finest plants
and plant imported vines,
though on the day you set them out, you make them grow,
and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud,
yet the harvest will be as nothing
in the day of disease and incurable pain.
Woe to the many nations that rage—
they rage like the raging sea!
Woe to the peoples who roar—
they roar like the roaring of great waters!
Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters,
when he rebukes them they flee far away,
driven before the wind like chaff on the hills,
like tumbleweed before a gale.
In the evening, sudden terror!
Before the morning, they are gone!
This is the portion of those who loot us,
the lot of those who plunder us.
Will the prophecy about the oldest continuously inhabited city on the earth come to pass?
It's funny because claiming any city will die or any kingdom will fall seems like a safe bet to make. 2700 years and counting on this particular prophesy.

Abby Martin Exposes Zionism & Israel on Joe Rogan Podcast (Strong Language)
They've tried everything to get rid of Assad. There are no limits to the depths they will sink to get their own way. And the subversive ways they do it makes the gullible think that they are the good guys.

So do those five "theys / theirs" refer to five different things? Like the Welsh, Australians, Polish, Chilean and Canadian?
Interesting massive overgeneralization....nice.

I'm still trying to work it out exactly who pulls the strings and tells you what to think. None membership of the IMF is definitely dangerous though. Self sufficient countries must be changed.

No over generalization.
"they" refers to us, the west, the United States and their vassals.
So yes,
"Like the Welsh, Australians, Polish, Chilean and Canadian? "
You only need inform yourself to find that is exactly the case.
For example, first from your list, Welsh (my father born in Cardiff) their (meaning the welsh) leader being Theresa May
accuses the Russians without evidence.

early Saturday, April 14, 2018, odd, the investigation didnt begin until sunday the 15th.
The missle attack was on the 14th. hmmmmm
We (meaning us, the west) wouldnt do anything without evidence would we?
oops, ya I guess we(meaning us, the west) do exactly that.
I could go down the rest of your list with examples but really, if you want to inform yourself you will.
You havnt so I doubt your actually interested anyway.
Your right Ram, they (meaning us) will do anything not only to get rid of Assad but to force their (meaning us) will anywhere around the world.
I wont point out or detail the depravity, there are kids on this site.
Even the truth of what we do might be too much, especially for base brats etc.
I simply figure people have the right to truth, a balancing act I guess.

@Ram
"I'm still trying to work it out exactly who pulls the strings and tells you what to think"
Its a story, I like to begin in 1815, at the battle of waterloo.
You can start sooner, but what I believe the trurning point was or when the power was finally grasped happened at that point.
Look to who bought the bank of englands bonds, follow his sons to the federal reserve 100 years later after repeated attempts.
first world war and the balfour declaration 1907, jekyl island 1910, federal reserve 1913.
2nd war and detruction of secret societies., oss,Eisenhowers warning, 1951 aipac, jfks murder.
Of course its all a kgb, nazi, long headed or grey alien conspiracy, but its all there, its all connected, the information can be found by anyone that looks.
Who is pulling the strings? Some people will tell you its Jesus.
Well, he did warn us.

I find it interesting that you are more willing to trust an unsubstantiated report by a politician from Russia than a report by a politician from England.
Russians lie as a way of life. They are corrupt from bottom to the top and proud of it. This isn't even about the Russian government. Russians only know how to lie. That's why it's scary that the entire Canadian government computer programs have been written by Russians.
Anyways, it's a smoke and mirrors show. Even if some trace amounts of BZ toxin were used, Lavrov admitted that the main findings of the report were the main agent was Novichuk. He says that part of the report is a lie, but the trace amount of BZ is the truth... which doesn't make sense. If parts of the report was fabricated, why wouldn't they get rid of all the contrary evidence? So he is using the parts of the report that he wants and totally ignoring the main findings (according to his own words which can't be believed because he isn't supposed to have even seen the confidential report). This is exactly how the fake news machine works.

Did you believe Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, Russians invaded Crimea,Gaddafi was a bad guy.?......
Its not that Im prepared to believe a Russian politician before I believe our government, its simply I dont believe a word of what the west governments say. Soooo, I would believe anyone before western politicians.
I can tell when theyre lying because their lips move.
Russians lie as a way of life, ok, let me remind you, be careful dealing with the police in N America.
Lawyers in N America have a bit of a reputation.
You can not go into court with your eyes closed.
Try recovering cash from a deal gone bad, courts are made for people that lie, its as if you lose if you tell the truth.
As Danny Davito says "swearing on the bible means they gotta believe you."
When the Russians repeatedly ask for an investigation, I tend to believe they would like to see an investigation.
You didnt find it odd we knew beyond doubt it was Russia before an investigation?
Standard procedure, bomb syria without facts as well.
We bomb and kill anyone we want and have done so for decades, longer actually.
Ask the natives if our government can be believed.
We dont need no stinky facts or truth.
Just gets in the way.
The first casualty of war is truth.

I knew it was Russia before the attack even happened, so I don't find it weird at all. You probably don't understand the world of espionage, but it's a lot thicker than it used to be in the cold war era. Something like 1 out of 10 passports in the world are fake. The proliferation is due to all the varying spy agencies around the world constantly making new ones. It's not like any of the major espionage players are in the dark about different activities. They are all spying on and counterspying each other to epic proportions. It's like when Trump kicked the Seattle diplomats out. They've probably known they were spies forever but they just let them continue to do their spying because it's easier than trying to stop it.
You might be thinking "surely frame jobs happen all the time, its the Brits framing the Russians". That does happen quite a bit, (but most agencies prefer to make deaths look accidental or natural). That just isn't the case here. The only thing possibly going on under the covers is that MI6 allowed the attack and obviously they can't let that leak out. This actually seems like the true story. This kind of attack is common, but this public response to it is rare. It's also possible that it was just a media good-luck story that the government had to react and that they didn't know the attack was coming.
Why would anyone allow the Russians in on the investigation? If the mob boss demanded that the police give him reports of any investigations into his activities, would the police comply?
Has anyone looked into the Russians who were poisoned? Why would Russia have such an interest in killing them? Why is this guy wanted dead so bad that Russia would use a nerve agent in a foreign country to kill them and not a more traditional method? Seems odd to me. Inquiring minds want to know.

Not drawing any conclusions about the incident in Salisbury, but Russia did use radioactive materials to poison a different Russian defector in London a few years ago.
