not a chance. i read it in time, it's not $35, it's $34.99

As I've grown older my anticipation has lessened with each book. Nevertheless, I still can't wait for this one, even though I've heard rumours that the ending will be a bit of a let down...

I've got so many theories as to what might happen but I can't be bothered being proved a fool, so I will just wait and see...

And RobinJ, with books it's really true, "It doesn't matter where you end up, it's how you got there that's important". A book consists of far more than just the ending.

I liked the black one better...

I paid 18 through Barnes and Noble and for each of the books I sat down and read them straight through so I'll be doing it again. I also think Snape will die saving HP and that there will be a HUGE battlescene at the end of it where several members on each side will die. I think Draco will help HP as he realizes the Voldemort side is evil and Draco while he is a nasty person couldn't pull the "trigger" on killing Dumbledore.

Harry might not go to school next year that is why there is no Quiditch.

My fiancée is absolutely addicted to Harry Potter. Though I hadn't read any of the books before I met her, she turned me onto them. I just re-read Order of the Phoenix in preparation for the movie (we'll be going to the midnight showing) after which I'll re-read The Half-Blood Prince in the week before The Deathly Hallows comes out.

i believe the black cover is the UK cover, since the artist for harry potter here is from florida.

A giant meteor will hit the earth and everyone dies. The end. The rest of the pages will be filled up with adverts for porn. J. Rowling earns a lot of money. A LOT.

Got to disagree to an extent. Obviously, the whole book has to have good content but if the ending is an anticlimax (I'm not saying it will be, I've just heard that rumour) then it leaves you feeling dissatisfied and empty inside because it is the last thing you read

Good point - with all that magic and crazy stuff happening and being drunk, it must induce an LSD - similar trip. I can't wait...
