Thanks for your help.

I haven't gathered results and posted any standings yet, since we're in the first few rounds. I will start gathering info and post results and standings soon though.

Nothing unpredictable so far it seems. I'm not looking forward to playing TOP though; I don't think I've seen anyone whine so much. It's pathetic. Take them for a tie PACK, I want to see the reaction. I don't mean the entire clan of course, just one or two who should be obvious regardless.

It's their battle cry of Molon Labe that concerns me. It's ancient greek for 'Come and take it'. I just have this image of Pap and Co lifting their skirts and bending over when they say it

Thought I'd share a 'real time' league table that I knocked up. This is not official and is just something I did for my own info.

TOP and Pack have 1 game still to finish, that looks like going to TOP

Rounds 1 to 5 incl.

Thanks for that Keefie. I did get slightly confused though 'cause the league now counts both home and away as a match, whereas previously they'd have counted as separate matches correct? So on that basis ATN have won all our matches. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Home is 1 match, away is another, so every round has 2 matches....

Same as CL6. :D

Ah, okay. We weren't involved in CL6 so some of this is new to me still. Thanks.

Draw! That's what the D stands for! ---- man, took me forever to figure that one out.... I knew it meant a tie, just couldn't think of the D-related word. Ok. Carry on everyone. Calm down. Crisis averted.

TOP - solid work so far only dropping 15 maps? Not bad. Not bad.

Was it by design that TOP and ATN meet in the final week? Could end up quite interesting

I think it would be foolish to write off The PACK just yet.

Molon labe (Greek: μολὼν λαβέ molṑn labé), meaning "come and take them"

We are honored to be discussed so much in this thread. Thank you for the respect that has been extended to us! To be feared by one's opponent is considered a high compliment!

It is unfortunate that speaking the truth is perceived as whining. But then humiliation, embarrassment and affliction of the ego can often impair one's perception.

Please continue with your comments. We will let our swords do the talking on the battlefield.

We appreciate the opportunity to be here!

Taking pride in a handful of players who direct stripers every game is amusing.

The definition of a striper is a slang term for a naval enlisted person or officer who has stripes on his uniform indicating his years of service. A US Navy officer that has five stripes on his sleeve is an example of a striper who has served twenty years in the Navy.

To my knowledge we have no navel officers in our family. We do however have 5 Generals and a Field Marshall in the top 25, a former Conquerer, many highly decorated leaders, and an abundance of members who play regularly in our war & tournament games.

There are two matches, so both clans will be winners and losers. But I just feel that we achieved a little bit more than you guys did ;)

You are of course entitled to your opinion my friend. I did compliment you personally for kicking our butts in the 1 match we have lost in this tournament. Your clan did a great job!

Speaking strictly as someone who is "bending over with skirt lifted", if you consider the 2 matches as a collective combined experience, I would say there would be a clear dominant winner. If you then add the #s from the war you challenged us to...you may gain some clearer perspective on winner and loser.

But who am I to say? I'm just Braveheart with a draft up his kilt.....apparently mooning you! :D
