We are full and waiting privileges. We only have 18 teams so the format will have to changed. Will come up with something in the next day or so.

Its not easy finding a good format with 18 teams.

I propose we have 6 groups of 3 teams. You will play a home and away against the other 2 teams in your group. The winners advance to the bracket stage.

The 4 best 2nd place teams will advance to a playoff, with the winners advancing to the bracket stage. Ties will be broken by

1. Series wins
2. Match wins
3. Set or game wins

The bracket will be a random draw using random.org. 1 will play 2, 3 plays 4, and so on with the first team drawn being the home team. This will be redone for SF and finals.

If I reci=eive no objections within the next 48 hours we will proceed with this format.

Can I suggest having the group of 2nds (4 teams) playing in a same group facing the 3 others? Otherwise I'm fine either choice...

I think this would likely add another 3 months to the tournament, so I will go with original format. Going back to check that all teams have maps and settings and then we will get started.

Also have a question:

18 teams format is all group winners (6) & 4 best 2nd (4), that brings 10 teams for the bracket phase...how will you be able to have a bracket with that amount of team?

6 group winners will progress to final 8. 4 best 2nd placed teams will face off for the final 2 spots.
